Posted May 3, 20159 yr I just couldn't resist the temptation to make a thread about our latest and most significant success since the 2012 Champions League Final. This season will go down as one of the most memorable and everyone deserves credit here from the top to bottom. To Roman and the board, well done for turning yourselves around after a few lean and questionable years especially around 2013 when the club was going nowhere and had no long-term vision at the time. Appointing Jose and overcoming that stubbornness has worked wonders for the club. To the people also involved in our transfer dealings you have been remarkable in your ability to do astute and good business which leaves the club in a very healthy and bright position heading into the future. To Jose and his coaching staff, you guys are absolute legends. I remember all of us feeling so devastated when Jose left the club in 2007 under difficult and sad circumstances but his return in 2013 has really galvanised and lifted the club. The standards are higher than ever before, we now have a clear direction of what we want to achieve, the players absolutely play for this guy like there's no one else greater than him and the supporters will continue to adore Jose. In his first press conference back from the club Jose declared he was 'one of us' and his actions in the past two years truly speak volumes of this statement. The way he has defended this club to the absolute extreme, made us a force again and most importantly appreciates the supporters goes to show that this man is a club legend and we must do everything in our power to ensure that he remains here for as long as possible. I'm absolutely ecstatic for Jose and his coaching staff! Well done lads! To the playing squad, all of you guys make this worthwhile. You've played with the passion and burning desire to achieve greatness for this football club and we thoroughly appreciate your efforts week in week out even if some times can be testing for each other. I can single out individuals but everyone a part of this is worthy of being a part of such a club and hence I'll say no more. The only thing I will say is that I'm so proud of John Terry because he epitomises what makes this club the best club in the world. He's a natural born leader, he bleeds for this club, he's passionate and hungry for success, he's never looked so great as a footballer and most importantly his desire to improve and become a better a footballer and person is outstanding in so many respects. I know some may disagree but it should be noted that any players in the past five years who are no longer here such as Frank Lampard, Juan Mata, David Luiz, Andre Schurrle and many others deserve a big thank you as well because they were a part of this squad not too long ago and worked and mentored many of the players who are with us right now so thank you gentlemen. Last but not least to all Chelsea supporters cherish this moment! It's been five years since we've felt this and it got to the stage where some of us thought we would struggle to overcome the Manchester teams over the years but here we are and we look better than ever! Our supporters have been terrific despite the flak we've copped from the media and opposition supporters over the years and you guys should be smiling no matter what! Our passion is still alive and well and if we can lift another gear next year at home games then I think we're on the verge of greatness as supporters. We've been through it all from the highs to lows. I don't care if you're young and old we all should cherish this. I will quickly say that I'm nearly in tears because I'm so overcome with happiness at the moment. To the media, I've got nothing to say apart from the fact that your wish to see us fail miserably under Jose has come to a crashing end. You've doubted us from day one and always done everything in your power to undermine and question our club at every turn but this has only made us stronger and more determined to be successful. Jose is a legend for remaining calm and composed despite your ineptness to say anything good about us and the supporters feel more united than ever against you guys.
