Hi all,

Please forgive me for posting this here. I'm visiting the UK from abroad and my wife bought tickets online to the Community Shield game this weekend for my birthday. However, when we got to London yesterday I received my tickets and found out that they are in the Chelsea section (and I'm an Arsenal fan - please don't hold it against me!). They are really great seats in the long-side lower (block 125 row 5).

It would be really great if anyone is able to help me swap this pair of tickets for a pair in an Arsenal or neutral section. I know this a long shot since I'm a fan of a rival team, but I've been a huge fan of the premier league for a decade and half and have never seen a premier league team live. If anyone can help us out we would be eternally grateful!

Would be interested to know where you bought the tickets, being an Arsenal fan given that the seats are in the Chelsea section.

Unless your wife has Chelsea membership I am going to go ahead and assume that they have come from an online tout?

My wife bought them from a website selling a number of tickets for the game. I'm not sure what online touts are, or if this website is one. However, they appeared to be a well-established business and the tickets we received are genuine.

Moral of the story.............don't let the wife have anything to do with football.

I'd say go on an Arsenal forum as well if you haven't already. 

Or just be prepared to cry silently so that you don't give yourself away when Arsenal get thumped!.
