We all love Costa because he plays for Chelsea but let's face it, if he played for anyone else he would be a complete c**t!
 
And as much as we back Costa because he is our man, any Chelsea fan who seriously wouldn't swap Costa for Aguerro if they had the choice has to be completely delusional.

Well obviously it's going to take him some time to get out from Mikel's shadow but I think it was a very encouraging debut all things considered.

I actually quite rate Moses as a squad player and have nothing against him, but suggesting he is a better footballer than Pedro really is quite ridiculous.
 
Moses had a respectable full season with Chelsea, not knocking that, but since then he has been underwhelming to say the least scoring just 8 goals in 3 seasons. Pedro scored 8 just last season.
 
It's not a dabate that needs stats to put it to be though to be honest, anyone who has eyes and a brain and has watched  a bit of football over the last 8 odd years would rate Pedro above Moses; the gulf in class in terms of technical ability is vast.  
 
As for Cuadrado, it really is a laugahble comparison and I am insulted on Pedro's behalf that anyone has even brought it up in a serious manner in all honesty!

You claimed the other day Conte didn't rate or want Costa despite the man a few days before coming out and telling us the very opposite.
Pedro is a better footballer than Moses, nothing you post will change that.

It's pointless if you can't see how useless Salah and Cuadrado were. I don't know a single Chelsea supporter who rated them when they were with us.
Pedro has done far more in his time with us than those 2 combined and that’s a season where 90% of the players have been underperforming.
If you rate Salah and Cuadrado over Pedro that’s obviously your opinion but I think you are barking mate.

In his defence at least he is brave enough to get himself in to those scoring positions. He takes responsibility and looks to influence the game and score goals.
Willian by contrast, and last night was a good example, doesn't make those same incisive runs and take up good scoring positions.
I quite like Pedro personally.

He's one of the most direct players we have IMO. Yes he missed a good chance but so have many this season. He got himself into that position with a great run and good skill to wrong foot the last man.
I rate him much higher than the likes of Willian when it comes to attacking play. He will be an important player next season with a pre season behind him and a more settled regime (he came in when the dressing room appeared to be gunning for Jose).

I'm no fan of Cuadrado, but I do agree with this. A lot of Spurs fans were saying Bale was sh*t and we all know what happened next (though Cuadrado is 27 now so time is running out for him).

Not a dig at you at all, and I don't even think this is the case with John Squared, but Arsenal fans were saying this sort of thing about Bellerin for ages before he came good. Regular game time in the face of some bad performances can help a player a lot.  

On paper Conte is a more "sensible" appointment than AVB and Scolari were.
AVB was too inexperienced for the job and Scolari had been away from club management way too long and also had no experience of managing a club in Europe's top leagues.
He's a similar appointment to Ancelotti in that he is experienced but still at the top of his game.
I'm optimistic about the appointment but his success at Chelsea is going to depend on how much he is allowed to rebuild the squad over the next couple of years.

He's a quality player and obviously brings far more than his goals and assists. Ther are plenty of players who would have a bigger output in those terms but far fewer would have an improved contribution overall.
I don't think he's easily replaceable. £50m is huge for a player who wouldn't have much resale value after his next contract, but given the way the market has inflated it isn't THAT huge.
I'd prefer it if we kept our best players, and Willian is undoubtedly one of that group imo.

Mikel has been a useful squad player, every team needs players like him. It saddens me when I see the abuse Mikel gets.

He'll finally fulfil his destiny as the black Pirlo.
