Everything is fine. We obviously didnt need any marquee signings. 4 points from 5 matches is not great, but anything can change until may. City arent better than us at all.

If it werent for Pedro our transfer window wouldve been an utter disaster. Now it ends up being just(!) poor.

 

We bought a fullback for 20M that cant even make the bench let alone replace the worst performer in our team. And then theres Begovic. Decent backup gk, but hes not good enough to be a starter. Courtois being sidelined for 2-4 months will cost us points.

well i agree with everything except Bogovic, no team will have 2 worldclass keeper in long term, it is just unsustainable

I am not saying we should have a world class back up keeper. It's just that bringing him in makes no improvement over last season. Cech is the better keeper.

 

So saying we had a better window than man city is delusional. The only area we strengthened in was attacking midfield, and CIty strengthened in that department far more than us. With Courtois injured they are better at every area of the pitch.
