Biggest money deals in history, attracted all the best managers, 5 teams through to the Champions League knockout stages, teams all teams undefeated in group stages bar us, Tottenham topping a group with real and Dortmund, beating both.....wouldn't call that declining After all that the premier league has a bigger gap between first to second than Spain, Germany, France, Italy and even the sh*tty Scottish league, doesn't say alot. Apart from City the other big teams seem to me have been in decline for a while. One of matches in the champions league can go any way and Utds, City's and Liverpool's was already decided

Like I said a couple of times we have 5 teams through to the KO stages of the CL, every English team topped their group, except us, the team in 6th place in our league beat Real Madrid convincingly, we beat Athletico, I mean I'm struggling to see your argument, this is the best the English have looked in Europe in years, after we won it English teams have been a joke in Europe, how can that be decline, seriously?

The Champions league is a cup competition and why the best teams doesn't always win it, so banging on about it all the time doesn't really mean as much as the PL. Thats why the PL is harder to win than the champions league and City have made the league look a walkover. The Champions league value has gone down since it has been opened up to more teams and watching teams who get beaten 5, 6 or 7 nil. When City, Liverpool and Utd go through you can say how great the PL is and why Hazard shouldnt leave. If either one of these teams go out it will be a major shock. Then all Liverpool or Utd need is the next game against Roma and there in the semi's, that's the luck of the draw and not really quality. One of games in the cup doesn't automatically mean one team is better than another, Spurs could go out the next round and Real reach the final then all Spurs done was win one game and done nothing after.
