am in the summer of 2029! icon_lol.gificon_lol.gif

it's a marked improvement on 2006 (obviously) and better than the classic 2005.

though, our online game clearly beats any single player gaming experience on any platform (even if you and loz did rob me of that european cup).

that's why I am excited about this game. could bring all the improvements from 2005 and it's designed specifically for online...

does sounds very cool- the ai is clearly still miles away from just producing a few different versions of formations so having all the human opponents eliminates the 'structure' from the game as much as it can. Which is what makes it closer to reality and great. I'm tempted to download it but am having too good a time living at just this moment.

I will live enough for 2007 then devote 2008 to fm. decided.

yes. f*ck living.

okay- loz, henry, sofa idiot, bluebeard and more- let's get a league going- one that pauly cannot... "tweak".

p.s. sh*t just pressed something on firefox that's made all the font smaller...

Wait... 2029... Jesus!

In fact, i actually played that far once, before the 2d times, produced the greatest player of all time, sold him for 229 million pounds. what excellent fun

hehe. I think this is the furthest I've ever gone. the regen system is totally new for fm07 (no more old players returning with new names) and I am starting to get concerned myself as some regens have even retired and gone on to become managers themselves! icon_eek.gif

I mentioned in the chat today that I once .. ahem ... managed the Mancs in old version of Football Manager, under the alias Alf Witted. ('alf witted , geddit). Had all kinds of fun, got rid of the entire squad on free transfers and got the team relegated in successive seasons. Finally I got bored with running them into the ground. No tell a lie, I got sacked! And who should step into my size 12's but Alex Ferguson, and the first thing he did as manager Man United in the old 4th division or the conference or whatever, was to sign a 17 year old Portugese youth international called ... Cristiano Renaldo. One of those horrible little coincidences that it's impossible to forget.

this sounds so cool. the fact that you can tweak everything from prize money to dates games played will make it an excellent game...
