With the likes of christensen getting solid mins, ake potentially coming back and gilmour, ampadu, guehi and maatsen all looking promising it really does show what an incredible academy we have!

In a back 4, I would have Emerson and Azpilicueta ahead of Alonso. Every time Alonso plays in a back 4, he needs a cb constantly covering him because of his lack of pace. Tomori has been doing that job in every game that Alonso has played in since Emerson picked up his injury. Tomori is doing an excellent job, but him covering Alonso is leaving gaps.
