Scott Harris got a reaction from markpitts in Reece JamesI'm tired of us managing James minutes though. If the squad is to move forward with James as a key player, then we need him all of the time without fear of breaking down. We can't keep going into games with him being an injury risk. Every game we have one eye on taking James off at a certain point, it's like our subs are built around reserving a spot for him.
The even more concerning part about James of late though is how shot he looks mobility wise. He turns like a tank, barely runs, and has slow reactions to players pressing him. Every time he gets injured now, he returns a worse player, something that never used to be the case before.

Scott Harris got a reaction from WhiteWall in BlueCo buy Chelsea FCMidway through July, let's sum up the transfer window so far.
Bought Palestra. A young full back off the back of his first good season for £47m.
Sold Cucurella for £47.5m + 4.7m in future add ons ( pathetic, should have been £60m, minimum )
Interest in Lacroix and Wharton, both have gone quiet. Lacroix more likely, but not even close to being done by the looks of things.
Tried to sign Xhaka, failed.
Tried to sign Pep Chavarria, a mediocre full back without a single cap for Spain or appearance in the Champions League. Offered a low amount, Rayo Vallecano asked to match his release clause which was £21m at the time. Now it's somehow gone up to £42m and they are demanding that instead.
Sold Santos to Man Utd for £50m, a direct rival for top 4.
Selling Chalobah to Como for a pathetic £30m.
Enzo wants out, but nobody wants to pay the money.
Desperately trying to shift Garnacho, the best we will get is a loan.
Jackson is back because we can't sell him. Delap, Disasi, Badiashile, Tosin, etc, players that need to be sold won't be sold.
No FOS sponsor for another year.
I really didn't think this lot could get much worse, but they've done it. There is no way Alonso isn't already concerned.

Scott Harris got a reaction from markpitts in Reece JamesThe problem is that James isn't a very good midfielder. He has his moments, but no more than that.
-
Scott Harris got a reaction from markpitts in Trevoh ChalobahClub is clearly f**ked. Handy squad players getting sold, left with trash like Badiashile. Midway through July, pre season under way, all we have to show for it is yet another young one season wonder kid with less than 100 senior appearances.

Scott Harris reacted to C3blue in Xabi Alonso - New Chelsea Manageralready worried sat here before watching all these players come in and go out and window after window watch the team get weaker and weaker.
Waited for the first team signings that never come.
XA is not a miracle worker, Gusto likely to go we have the Eggo Fernandez issue to resolve Delap? Jackson? So much work to do.
They have clearly missed out on a couple of his targets with penny pinching bids which wouldn’t be a problem if we weren’t still dropping £40-50m on 19-21 yr olds after one good season.
I wonder what the 5 SD’s do all day. I mean seriously what must their average day be like?? A few phone calls? A Lunch meeting somewhere? Then it’s off to suck off Jorge Mendes and home before 4pm.

Scott Harris reacted to Sconnie Blue in Xabi Alonso - New Chelsea ManagerThe team heads off to Australia next week. First preseason game in 10 days.
They have done nothing but weaken the squad by losing Cucurella, Chalobah, and Santos.
When do we begin to worry?

Scott Harris got a reaction from Bluesince66 in Enzo Fernandez - Officially a Blue! With the way the Argies have behaved towards us, I genuinely would be very happy if we never signed one of their players again. It was real eye opener, or reminder, just how much they hate us.

Scott Harris got a reaction from erskblue in World Cup 2026Tuchel has regressed as a coach in recent years. He's become way too defensive minded. Remember our Champions League winning run and how he had us set up when we defended? There was always an out ball. Werner, Pulisic, Mount, Havertz, they were always available to take the pressure off the defence, and even a full back would move forward to help. He doesn't do that anymore, he goes too defensive and there is never an out ball.
