Random Rumours
Travesty if its not addressed given that we've just spent another 40m on a defender who it seems is straight through the revolving loan door.

Can't make any logical sense for their recruitment policy given the amount of money they are willing to spend can only come to the conclusion that Winstanley left his laptop in the back of a cab after getting out at Worcester avenue

Emiliano Martinez
Was impressed with him personally, deffo has a presence about him and constantly talking and organising during set pieces despite only having been here for 5 minutes. Can't recall what the score was at the time but important save low just inside the post. Solid debut even though we let 3 in.

Enzo Fernandez - Now sold to Man City
I'm sure City are scheming in some way particularly as no bid despite "apparently" terms being agreed with the player (if that's true lol) Don't see what he's going to achieve if he goes on strike after the window closes as once shut can't be transferred anyway until reopens. OK we get left with an unsettled player but is he really going to sulk for the next 4 months ? If so just get big Maxence to have a little word in his shell lol. Seriously personally want him gone as don't see any way he actually improves the team we have, particularly offensively , squad player at best but a very expensive "square peg " imo would rather sell and give Alonso another player (or two) that he wants, whether that's now or next window depending on player availability.

Enzo Fernandez - Now sold to Man City
I hope they get Camara in irrespective of what happens to Enzo, feel we need another "natural" player positional wise particularly with such a reliance on Moises.

Tough season for Palace I imagine, looks like they've had the soul ripped out of them.

Chelsea v Derby County August 1983.
Would be in a list of my favourite games , reason being for the absolute joyous feeling that experienced at Stamford Bridge that day. We had been through such a bad time in the previous seasons and didn't really know what to expect with all these new players but remember the feeling of incredible joy and excitement as the game went on and the realisation that we might actually have a team again after having gone through all the lows. Wonderful day

I'd drive him myself... In fact I'd get Fofana to drive him

Valentin Barco our Ginger Argentinian
Impressive debut liked the way he got up and down the pitch, looked. comfortable at both ends. Thought his use of the ball was very good and can spot a pass early.

Emiliano Martinez
Not sure about 76% direct to opponents, I'm guessing maybe 20% directly to opponents and the rest directly split equally between rows West Stand Lower WL 3-5) and East Stand Lower (ELS 4-ELN 6) lol

Robert Sanchez joins Chelsea
Can't help themselves those two lol, does make me laugh though how they froth at the mouth over his (and others during the weekend) errors but have suddenly decided to "temper" it by saying beforehand "we have to be careful this is a human being we're talking about" and then go on to destroy him. Is this the new rather cringy effort of Sky Sports paying "Lip Service" to players mental health. Its ok to destroy as long as you give that little precursor beforehand.

Enzo Fernandez - Now sold to Man City
Times running out for getting a replacement, however if the deal goes through then hoping that we only bring in a player that Alonso specifically wants.

Robert Sanchez joins Chelsea
Agree, ideally you want your number one with Penders as back up, imo absolutely no point in having a new No1. with Sanchez as back up. However really can't see Sanchez going anywhere at this late stage if he is replaced, and absolutely pointless keeping Penders here if he's not going to be a number two.

Maxence Lacroix
didn't know a lot about him before but my Brother in Law is a match going Palace fan and was adamant he'd quickly become a fans favourite here. Looks to be a real presence vocally as well and hopefully will fill one of the glaring weaknesses over the last couple of seasons. Looks like a good pick from all the players that we were linked with at some point so from that point of view can only say .... "No Jacquet Required"
