15 out of 24 teams in Euros played 3 at back and in the Prem you will see more of that for sure. 3 at back itself does nothing. It how you implement it. TT knows how to play it. Not many teams can field Jorginho - Kante double pivot. 

With Lukaku in I hope we are getting closer to our xG numbers. 

The other teams will have noticed that as well and will raise their game against. 

They might be sh*t but they'll do everything to say they beat the Champions of Europe!

It's just one match though. And we started it without some key players and still dominated the first 35 minutes, imagine after every game like this a coach says that we need another 100m signing and another and another... It was easier for us to win against Real Madrid than against Villarreal and Man United couldn't do it, clearly they know something about us that we don't know about them but that doesn't mean we're going to struggle to win games in the PL.

One thing is the Kounde signing that the club has been working on. A good CB and young too but apparently a 70m signing. So with Lukaku that's around 170m transfer window, I don't think that another 100m like signing like Rice is essential, IMO we could have kept Gilmour in the squad for this season.

I don't see us signing Rice for another 100m this transfer window, we have a chance with Lukaku and Kounde that will make us better so we need to see how that works out first.

Yes and we have the January window if we need to strengthen further and by then we will know who has been sold or loaned.

I'm impressed by Tuchel can't say I love the football style yet he is a cut above most managers we have had recently.

Thanks for your comment. After getting Lukaku, I just feel we have a good attack and we have a good defense ( and I want to say that we don't need to get Kounde since we have Trevor Chalobah). But the midfield is bad. I feel that midfield will struggle this season. If we allow spaces in the midfield, then eventually teams will break down our defense and we will conceed goals and may lose matches.

That central midfield is a bit weak and it may help us to get a stronger defensive midfielder to help our overall play in the Midfield and protect our defense. We may need a player like Declan Rice to support us in the midfield and also get the ball to the attackers so that we can score goals.

Maybe we should use that money for Kounde before this transfer window ends and sign a new central midfielder then. Still not sure if we can sign Rice but there are other options too.

Yes, we can go for other options. But the idea is that there is a problem in that position, and we can get even cheaper players in that position and that may be the difference in our team this season. 

We are still going to play teams like Man Utd, Liverpool etc this season, if we get a good midfield, and win teams like Man Utd and Liverpool, then we may win the league.
