Huh, I read an atricle last year where Todd visited both the stadium and where they train and felt both were poor quality as they basically only recently got a working kitchen.

Was there not a none league men's team that owned that place and played there?

Not everything you read online is true. For instance some people would have you believe I’m cold hearted.

AFC Wimbledon used to own it and Kingstonian played there. I believe we bought it when AFC Wimbledon moved back to their new stadium in Plough Lane and promptly kicked out Kingstonian.

Chelsea used to play friendlies there against Kingstonian in the late 90s/early 00s

Ah I see. Wonder why we have not invested in that ground then? Our women's side deserved better and I assumed it was because we rented the ground that we could not make improvements to it. Since we do own it why did Roman, nor Todd and Co now, not invest in making I better?

It’s not a bad stadium. You should visit.

Whilst there undoubtedly could be improvements made and Emma's call today for under ground heating may well be acknowledged internally. But as I said before this is the women's home and they like, to a certain extent, the camaraderie that home spun values bring. When they play at Stamford Bridge it's an away game for them as well which can also bring additional pressure.

I do think that TB's plan is to develop the Kingsmeadow facilities though. It's a bit of a shame for me because I actually enjoy watching the women and the ground is a fair old slap for me to get to.

But it isn’t for me so unless they’re moving to Banstead FCs ground I hope they never move! :laugh2:
