Seems like everyone except us is going to have bucket loads of money to spend this summer... icon_rolleyes.gif

PS: I wonder if RA's penny pinching ways are brought on because he lost half his fortune to his ex wife?

There's a lesson in that Roman. And the chapter heading for that lesson is titled: 'Pre-nup'...

Has Sam Alidyce (sp?) found a new club yet?........maybe this was what was attractive enough for him to dump Bolton.

1 pm press conference called at Newcastle, so Big Sam's off the market and earning three million quid a year.

This for a guy who has never won anything.

Still, apparently that's a measure of managerial skill in England. I mean, look who got the job managing the national team...

Apparently Rainieri is favourite to be the next manager of City. Poor old Claudio.

He didn't lose 1/2 his fortune Brian, he lost 150m. His divorce took place in Russia where his wife isn't entitled to half of his assets, so they settled on ?150m - a fortune, but a mere drop in the ocean for Roman

Now, if that was a English bird...........

Sorry, but that had 'spin doctor' written all over that story. I fully expect that it was a truck load more than that. And that the whole 'settled on ?150m' story was just leaked so RA could 'save face' and not be the laughing stock of the Billionaire's Club. She's the mother of his children and been with him for around a decade. She would be able to get half his fortune. ?150m would be barely enough to stop her fighting for sole custody of their children. In fact, her alimony would be more than that!

But he did give her tickets to the cup final

He also has to pay the CSA ?18.35 per week, thats a staggering ?73.40 each month. icon_wink.gif

? 50 Million. Fecking great.

A bet that IF Paul Jewell gets the job he's gonna go for a couple of "Heskeys" (again) for a bargain ? 10 M, followed by the brilliant signing of a few other young overly tallented underpriced british players AKA Shawn Wright-Phillips.

Are you sure he has kids, im not so sure mate, could be wrong, also am convinced that if she asked for any more that she would be found face down in the mersy!!

To the point though 50 million isnt going to get city even close to us and funny that it ws probably are best season under CR (pre - roman) where he was given nothing to spend
