No one is surprised here. Italian football is a basket case, remarkable given that the game is a religion here. In short, there's little money, and that which exists is mismanaged, signing foreign players at the expense of developing young talent through academies.

Expecting Tuchel to do what no other manager since 1966 has done and get us to a Final, let alone winning it , is a bit of a stretch I reckon. .
