I thought about putting this in the Football section, but following on from the weekend, I thought it more appropriate to put it here with all the other Rangers threads.

Tonight Rangers begin their season in earnest, with the first leg of the Champions League Qualifier against FK Zeta of Montenegro. More about the match on the Official Rangers site and here on BBC Sport

The match is live on BBC Scotland, which is available on Sky Channel 971, but the actual channel number might vary depending where you are. Coverage starts at 8:00pm, kickoff is at 8:05pm. Having had a nice little warm-up on Saturday icon_confused.gif Rangers should be fit and raring to go!

To be perfectly honest, I didn't realise the Brondby game was tonight. I still think I'll watch Rangers though. People are reading far too much into our pre-season performances, more so than in previous seasons, so it seems. Oh I'll be keeping an eye out for the score, and make an effort to see the goals (if any). But at the same time, it's little more than a warmup.

My feelings exactly Lofty. Once Chelseas season starts its a different ball game but right now and following on from Sat im in full Bears overdrive!

We are the people.

Rangers have had plenty of possession but appear to be lacking that bit of craft to create clear chances. Zeta on the other hand, although more starved of possession have actually carved the Rangers defence open on a few occasions and Rangers are particularly struggling to deal with the pace of a bloke called....err... well it ends in 'vic'

Quite a good game to watch so far in that it has been pretty committed and end to end.

mcCulloch has got a 'shoot on sight' head on!
