Hello Chelsea fans... A quick request from a Liverpool fan.

Hi everyone.

I come from the largest Liverpool independent website on the net, http://www.redandwhitekop.com

As some of you may already know (we recognise the shed end as a good, knowledgable base of football fans, so different members have posted questons here in the past) we have, for several years, ran a pre game feature on thoughts of opposition fans called "Spyin' Kop"

Hopefully the users and moderators here don't mind if I post a few questions which anyone willing can answer below.

For my part, when the article is finalised, I will post the link here and you can, if you wish, discuss your responses with liverpool fans.

I will also not taint or edit anyones answers in any way.

Thanks.

To see our most recent Spyin Kop article, to get a flavour of what we do, see here...

And now, the questions.

Just copy and paste the questions, and pop your answers in below as replies to this topic - I'll come back and gather them later.

It's obviously still fairly early in the season, but what have you made of your two performances so far?

Who do you think is your most important player(s)?

Your worst player(s)?

Who was your most improved player last year?

This meeting will be our 17th in the last 3 and a bit years. Do you feel liverpool are starting to get the upper hand?

Any young up and coming players in the squad that we might not know about?

Who do you think will be your best signing this season?

What are your thoughts on Frank Lampard seemingly pulling a "Michael Owen" as it's known - running down the contract to secure a big move?

Are you going to win the quadruple this season?

Which Liverpool player will you fear the most?

How many players from the current liverpool side would make your first team?

What team do you expect Jose to play against us?

Does the absence of Terry worry you?

What effect do you think the African Cup of Nations will have on this season (for my money, you will be missing your best 3 players from last season in Drogba, Essien and Mikel)?

Given the choice, would you rather win the league or the champions league? Have the recent near misses in the CL and success in the prem made the European competition more of a priority, as it's the "missing" one?

Who do you think is going to be the top 4 this season, and in what order?

Who do you think will be relegated, and why?

Care to predict the score?

It's obviously still fairly early in the season, but what have you made of your two performances so far?

It is early days, and with the fact that we didn't have a recognised striker on the pitch for much of the Charity Shield that game is even harder to take anything from.

The attacking side of the performance against Birmingham gave me hope that in some of the home games we're going to see a more expansive and free-flowing style, some of the movement on Sunday was superb. Having said that I don't believe Jose will play that style of football against our rivals and better teams - so I expect us to revert back to 4-3-3 for the "big" games (e.g. Liverpool away). When it comes down to it Jose's philosophy will always be that you don't win games by condeding goals, so I think our more conservative style will return for the big games.

Who do you think is your most important player(s)?

As far as style of play is concerned, from what I've seen Malouda could have a big influence. He has more variety to his game creatively that Robben and is a more intelligent looking player. Other that that Drogba's presence up-front and JT's presence at the back are always major features in our team.

Your worst player(s)?

Glenn Johnson, I think defensively he loses concentration if not kept busy (as he was a Pompey). It's normally a goal keeper issue, a GK looks great at a 'small' club where he's always busy and makes great save after great save, but when he moves to a 'big' club and often has little to do he can lose concentration and drop clangers - Cech's biggest strength is his ability to pull off a blinding save after being idle for much of the match.

Who was your most improved player last year?

Last season was definitely Drogba. At the start of this season it's looking like Shaun Wright-Phillips and Kalou.

This meeting will be our 17th in the last 3 and a bit years. Do you feel liverpool are starting to get the upper hand?

No way. Jose and Rafa come from similar footballing schools philosphically and tactically (don't concede goals!), so in the majority of games the two teams have cancelled each other out. However, without digging out the stats for those 17 games I can only think of a few Liverpool victories (CL semi 2004/05 & 2006/07, FA Cup semi 2005/06, EPL 2006/07, ...) whereas in most of the league meetings Chelsea have had the upper hand.

Any young up and coming players in the squad that we might not know about?

I think Kalou and Mikel with both become more prominent this season.

Who do you think will be your best signing this season?

As I said above Malouda seems to be an intelligent playmaker that could make a big difference to our style.

What are your thoughts on Frank Lampard seemingly pulling a "Michael Owen" as it's known - running down the contract to secure a big move?

I can't do anything about it, so I don't really care. He says he wants to stay the club appear to want him to stay, so why can't they sort it if that's the case. If he goes, good luck to him and thanks for all the goals.

Are you going to win the quadruple this season?

Probably not, as it's never been done, but we should be there or thereabouts in all the competitions so we must have a chance.

Which Liverpool player will you fear the most?

Steve G (played in centre mid) is obviously a great player, and Riise does have a knack of scoring against us!

How many players from the current liverpool side would make your first team?

Steve G, maybe Steve Finnan, hmmmm...I think that's all.

What team do you expect Jose to play against us?

Cech, Johnson, Carvahlo, Terry, Cole, Maka, Essien (if fit otherwise Mikel), Lamps, Maluoda, Drogba, SWP.

Does the absence of Terry worry you?

Not so much this season as we have more cover with Ben Hiam and Alex.

What effect do you think the African Cup of Nations will have on this season (for my money, you will be missing your best 3 players from last season in Drogba, Essien and Mikel)?

As Mikel has has a falling out with Nigeria I doubt he'll be missing. We've got Sidwell (or Diarra) to come in for Essien and from what I've seen of Pizzaro I think he and Sheva come form a very effective partnership, so I'm not as bothered as I might have been.

Given the choice, would you rather win the league or the champions league? Have the recent near misses in the CL and success in the prem made the European competition more of a priority, as it's the "missing" one?

I would always put the league as top priority. The CL would be fantastic, but my attitude to that is that once you're through the group stage it's a real lottery, certainly from the quarter finals. Eight absolutely top teams who are all capable of winning the trophy given the footballing gods are on their side.

Who do you think is going to be the top 4 this season, and in what order?

1. Chelsea, 2. Manure, 3. Liverpool, 4. Newcastle

Who do you think will be relegated, and why?

Derby (lack of Premier League experience), Wigan (a poor team and a poor manager), Bolton (big Sam will be a big miss).

Care to predict the score?

1-1

It's obviously still fairly early in the season, but what have you made of your two performances so far? Didn't see the charity sheild...travel. But in the prem we looked good attacking, and a bit shaky at the back

Who do you think is your most important player(s)? Essien, as he can play anywhere and never tires.

Your worst player(s)? Have not seen them all play so I can't call

Who was your most improved player last year? Drogba without question. 30 goals ina a season 1st time since Kerry Dixon, not bad

This meeting will be our 17th in the last 3 and a bit years. Do you feel liverpool are starting to get the upper hand? I think Liverpool Chelsea matches have been pretty even, you lot seem to hit us hard in the CL and that is a bitter pill to swallow when we seem to do better in the EPL

Any young up and coming players in the squad that we might not know about? Sincalir and Sahar are looking likely to make first team. Mancienne maybe too

Who do you think will be your best signing this season? So far it is Malouda, but I feel PIzarro might give us a decent goal return on our investment in him

What are your thoughts on Frank Lampard seemingly pulling a "Michael Owen" as it's known - running down the contract to secure a big move? Not sure it is all Frank, might be Kenyon too. I think he is a great player, and wouldn't be happy to see him go, so wuld like his contract to be sorted soon. The main thing that caused this was the signing of ballack

Are you going to win the quadruple this season? No, but I hope we seriously contend in all 4 comps

Which Liverpool player will you fear the most? Riise, his left foot is wicked!

How many players from the current liverpool side would make your first team? Not sure, maybe Stevie G if Lamps did leave, better get your matches ready.

What team do you expect Jose to play against us? Cech, Alex, Haim, carvalho, A Cole, Essien, Lamps, SWP, J Cole, Malouda, Drogs

Does the absence of Terry worry you? Yes, he is a true leader, and bleeds for the club. He was cruically missed last season, and the fact that it was at teh same time as Cech meant we lost the title to the mancs

What effect do you think the African Cup of Nations will have on this season (for my money, you will be missing your best 3 players from last season in Drogba, Essien and Mikel)? Drogba will be missed no question. I hope PIzarro and Sheva (if fit) can fill in. Essien is my current favourite player so I will miss him, but we have cover for him. Mikel will fall out with his country and just play for us ;-)

Given the choice, would you rather win the league or the champions league? Have the recent near misses in the CL and success in the prem made the European competition more of a priority, as it's the "missing" one? It is always nice to win the League, I think maybe more so this season to take it back from teh mancs. Last season I was all over the CL which is why our exit was painful, as I had ralized that teh Premiership was, at that point, unlikely

Who do you think is going to be the top 4 this season, and in what order? Not going to predict order but You Lot, your red neighbours, Us Lot, maybe the toon army

Who do you think will be relegated, and why? All 3 that came up. Maybe derby will stay and Bolton will go down.

Care to predict the score? 1-1
