sunderland. in the daily star today they have a league showing the loudest. sunderland 1st with 129.2 decibels, then spurs, man city, villa, everton, chelsea, boro, derby, newcastle, west ham, brum, arsenal, pompey, blackburn, bolton, liverpool (the so called best fans in the world remember), man utd (not surprise there), wigan, reading and fulham last. so chelsea are way above the other big 4. another myth put to bed.

these polls are a bit of a nonsense though really arent they. Where is the microphone positioned, which game is taken into account etc. I've been to sunderland and the atmosphere was terrible, i've also been to reading and it was loud as hell. Take all of these with a pinch of salt.

Then again, maybe you happened to be at the games where Sunderland wasn't loud and Reading was while this poll gathered information from several games and manage to get an average (and therefore more accurate) assessment on how loud the fans were.
