The cynic in me has to appreciate that since the Villa defeat and Mourinho's departure we have conceded only 1 goal in the premier league (against Everton) despite continuing to miss a whole bunch of important players. That's really where the improvement has been compared to the last year of Jose's reign when we close to giving up a goal a game.

On the other hand our scoring record is not much different. Not sure who if anyone we are going to buy in January, not even sure if Roman can afford anyone, but I would still be looking for a striker.

Better than in Jose's first season when the defence of Cech, Ferreira, Gallas, Terry, Bridge and Makelele conceeded a grand total of 1 goal in 17 premiership matches at one point and came close to breaking the all time English league record of meanest defence ever?

Point taken though, the defence has been good.

Good statistic though, 1 goal and that was to everton, keep this up with wins, we got the trophy in the bag!(but didn't steal it like a certain gerrard would)

In jose's 1st season we did break the record for meanest defence ever in a top flight season, as well as Cech breaking the record for most clean sheets in a season and longest time without conceding. A record that Cech now holds in England,France and in his homeland.

Well I care about attractive game since following Chelsea is not my job, it is my hobby. I love to see us win don't get me wrong. In the big picture winning is the key, but football is entertainment for me anyway.

Winning is entertaining and I hate to see us lose, but still would be nice to win with a style. We got all the material and money to do so.. At the moment we are doing well so I'm not complaining.

I must admit, we're not the greatest of viewing at the moment.

However, I am greatly entertained by the sight of us with trophies.
