Pudge
Just to say I have been at Cobham for a couple of days as my little one is doing a training course there What an amazing place the scale of it is just unbelievable in fact the bit for the first teamers pales in comparison to the rest of the place I was talking to one of the coaches this morning who was showing me what is still being developed - including astroturf specifically for the girls and academy groups A reservoir so that they can catch and store water for the pitches in the event of a hose pipe ban The pitches of the academy are immaculate Each age group has its own section which is nowhere near where the regular academy boys train - all sections for each specfic year group They also have a pitch just for competive matches I could go on and on Unfortuantely we can only peer into the main car park as security is tight but you get to see them in training as you drive down to the youth section Totally awe inspiring and would definitely take Franco again Well worth the £36 for two days just to see the place Much better than the crap that is Battersea Park astro turf that they use for the London Youth training A must for all budding Terry's & Drogba's I do wonder whether the boys of today would have put up with Harlington like Zola & Gullit did?
