Great to hear his opinion, but....

"Without (Francesco) Totti Roma are a good team, with Totti they become a great team and I think it was really the absence of one of the best players in the world that made the difference.

Did he forget Manure didnt play Ronaldo or Rooney for the 2nd leg ?

Vialli is always interested in whats happening at Chelsea and its good that some of our old player like Robbie de Mateo and Vialli still feel that way,

It was all over before the second leg though wasn't it so there was no need for either of them to be on the pitch unless it was in an emergency. Roma had no choice in playing Totti for either leg because he was injured.

He is a top bloke. He was on Chelsea TV a few years back saying he still couldn't really understand his sacking, and you could tell he was still gutted. I was so pissed off when he went.

Same as that, it seems a recurring theme at Chelsea, felt the same when Gullit went and to an extent even Hoddle...I think any one of them could given the time and maybe a bit more resources have put us up where we are now but playing better football.

I try not to get too involved in liking managers too much as it is hard to know what they're really like without their interview heads on but Vialli just seemed and still does like a genuine bloke.
