blizeH
Just read this on another forum, might be of interest to some people: A friend of my brother is a bit of a big shot in the horse racing world, he's a nephew of J.P McManus, and had the dubious pleasure of spending the evening in a group that included a number of Chelsea first-team players.Apparently Claudio Pizarro is an absolute cut above in training and a lot of players are upset that he's getting absolutely no first-team chances, due to the fact that TenCate and Grant really dislike him for some reason or another. As a result there's been a few disagreements and the team spirit has gradually gone completely to w**k since Jose left, as the players don't really think much of Avram at all. Blue Sun Tzu
Shame that chippy has gone all, er... chippy. He'd probably coat off such information as just heresay and lies conjured up by Grant bashers like you and me. However it might be fair to say that some people excel in training only to never show up when it counts and others are the opposite (ref: Carvalho). As for team spirit; it's plainly obvious to anyone that the appointment of grant has killed off the formidable team-spirit forged by Jose.
Azz
I actually think Pizarro is a decent player, when given a partner. However when used he is on his own which doesn't work because he is the kind of forward who drops very deep to recieve the ball. I don't think he should go at the end of the season, he is a good player that hasn't had many chances or the luck this season
g3.7
a friend of someone's brother on another forum. true or not, I find it hypocritical that people will totally buy into sources like these when the story is something that they want to believe, yet have plenty to say when arguably more credible sources suggest something that they do not want to believe. It's called confirmation bias G4. It's when you make a decision and then lose your objectivity by only looking for or putting weight on information (accurate or otherwise) that supports your alllready settled opinion. It can be a real problem for stock market investors and is definately something prevelent among the pannicked masses on this forum.
