I did say that I felt the Croats would have a great tournament, but I never expected this result! Good on them!

I was turned off of gomez from this game he played pretty poorly. He was caught offside plenty of times and touches on the ball weren't very good.

I feel that Germany over-rely on Balack, and he seemed to have one of those games where the ball always ran away from him. His touch was'nt quite there.

I'm afraid to say, that Modric looks a very decent signing for Spurtz. He carries the ball extremely well, has a low centre of gravity, and plays intelligent passes.

Klose was absent that whole game too. Pretty poor performance, Germans my have gotten a wake up call from this. I'm really suprsied with Croatia though, didn't think they'd be this good.
