According to Setanta it has been reported by Eto's agent that he has failed a medical at the Emirates. Hope this is true 'cos I'd hate the thought of Eto'o playing for the Arse.

Well in answer to my own post it now appears the agent is saying there hasn't been a medical yet.

Though i hope he doesn't go to L'arse i don't think he would improve them that much if he did. From the little i have seen of him recently it appears the injury he got against Bremen a couple of years ago has really affected him.

Also can you imagine the way he would react to their inexperience, he'd be worse than Gallas. :blink:

It seemed to come out of left field in the first place. I didnt recall seeing much smoke linking the little punk with the Arse until, suddenly, he has failed his medical.

The only other story that may be linked to this is that the Arse seem really intent for Adebayor to join Barca rather than AC Milan. Could it be a swap deal of some kind?

It seems like Milan are really pressing for him. 28 million was it? Good lord. I know he scored some great goals and is still young, but to me, Adebayor will be a major disappointment if he moves leagues. I just dont think he is going to equal this kind of production again. Im sure Wenger is rubbing his hands fiendishly remembering when he made 4000% profit over Anelka in 2 seasons

Much as we like to knock Wenger there's no doubt he's got a fantastic record in the trnasfer market especially when it comes to selling players, something Kenyon would do well to learn.
