Bosingwa

Boss-ing-wa I'd figure.

I read that this morning, seems like he just kinda drifted into football, really doing it to get some food on the table and stay out of trouble as such. Seems a nice guy though, very glad to have him at Chelsea.

I'm amazed he didn't start playing till he was 14. I've always thought kids learn best when they're little.

Most scouts can tell if someone will make it by the age of 9. What I mean is, if they watch a game of Under 10 football they'll be able to spot if there's anyone on the field with the potential to get taken on by a club at 15 or 16, even though they then have only a 10% of becoming a pro.

Still, if great players are born rather than manufactured, the talent is in you even if you don't develop it until later.

Fair enough. The people around me at the Manc game called him "Ash" so I guess it doesn't matter.

PS- those same fans were shouting "SKIN 'IM ASH" to Ashley Cole, Bosingwa, Malouda AND Anelka, must be a common nickname.

Andy Gray pronounces it Boswinger, but then again he's a twat. I hate watching Chelsea games on Sky when Ferreira is playing because I have to listen to him saying FERRARA! for 90 mins <_<

I think the "swinger" part from Lamps and JT is just their accents, and as for Gray, I can't even say that's his accent it's just him being a t*t!

I'd think it is boh-sin-gwa
