Kerry
Is this why PK doesn't want to spend in January?
Dorset
We have pursued this matter to the bitter end and at this stage I refuse to believe that, if we are in any position of strength whatsoever, we would merely walk away. Let’s be honest, bearing in mind the amount of recompense we would be seeking and our current counting of every penny we‘ve got, further litigation against either club had to take place, especially if we were to get nothing without it. Therefore the chances of a substantial out of court settlement are high and the chances of us ever hearing about it even higher because that is the way these things work. Unless [ever the optimist of course] some other type of bargaining is done that doesn’t involve anything as base as hard cash and then ’bargain’ might become the operative and obvious word to use a little further on down the line. TheWestwayWonder
I think Dorset is right, but I dont think Lyn Oslo has the kind of money on hand that would make us just settle Part of me thinks that we were dealing from a real position of strength, but that maybe we have come to some kind of arrangement over scouting with them, or maybe a way to get a first look at some of their new talent. I know Norway's league is a pipeline from other parts of the world for youngsters, but to me its feasable that we would take something other than money now that the scummer in question is gone and, really, we dont have a quarrel with the club itself
andy
We got a brilliant player out of it. What is not acceptable is Manures transfer dealings.. not just in this case but in general how they get away with it is beyond me
