  1. I apologise to everyone else that has contributed to this post that this clown has sought to derail it. I called you an idiot because now you are boring me. That and you are one. As far as me editing it - look at the time I did. Now look at the time of your reply. 4 minutes later !
  2. Excuse me - as I have just explained. I will have whatever avatar I want, particulary, bearing in mind what you refer to ,as it shows I have an ironic sense of humour if nothing else (and like flies to sh*t it'll wind the fools up - I make that 2 now) I came on this thread to give an opinion, which I have done. If you want to derail threads my chasing me around 'trying' to make a point then you carry on. It won't be me who looks stupid. Jog on.
  3. Are you going to chase me around and allow me to make a fool of you everywhere you follow me ? Look at the link. There is a CLUE there as to where I got it. I'll have whatever avatar I choose thanks - particularly if it winds idiots like you up. Anyway - as I said, back on topic.
  4. Wrong. They are Southampton fans. http://www.joe.ie/football/football-news/southampton-fan-goads-chelsea-supporters-during-yesterdays-game-0036031-1 ....and you do you nothing to dispell the myth you know f-all about anything Back on topic........
  5. Is it too early to call Marin a flop , or is £6.5m not enough ? Sold to us as the German Messi - turned out to be a Messy German
  6. The problem with getting rid of him is that he is on a 3 year contract on, what, £150k a week ? Unless he finds club willing to pay the same he won't want to go anywhere regardless of the fact we might want to sell him. No club is going to want to pay £20m for him AND spend the same again on 3 years wages for someone who is so clearly lacking in his role (at least thats what the stats say) I think he'll stay for one more year at least - we've already lost £30m on the guy, we may as well keep him a bit longer. Especially as he is showing glimners of his old self. I wanted him out in January but , as I am an eternal optimist, think he could come good for us.
  7. He's got to keep him . Luiz is like an untrained puppy still, he does so many things wrong (anyone else noticed that he gives the ball away 50% of the time when he takes quick free kicks ? - infuriating), but he is great going forward and that's a difficult thing to find in a 'defender'. He's one of the players I think we should be buidling a team round.
  8. He's got to be coming back , surely ? Cant see any attraction for him in Monaco and PSG play in a league with too little global exposure. I'm in two minds on the whole thing (With 75% of me really wanting him back). On one side I believe he will bring the title back within 2 years and will get the best out of what we have. He'll also attract some of the best players . On the other hand alot of water has passed under the Bridge since he was last here (and alot of players). There were times when I didn't used to like the way we won games. Also, while he may attract some players other might be swayed by the experiences of the likes of Pepe and Casillas and want to stay as far from that as possible. Did anyone see Revista on last night ? Calderon was scathing of him. Hopefully RA and JM will have ironed out their differences, I also hope that JM now feels it's time to seek a long tenure of a club rather than the short-term roles at IM,RM. We need stability and so does he. First week in June I reckon - got to be around then we'll know for sure.
  9. Lets just be clear here - I support Chelsea and I'm a season ticket holder. If you don't believe me then, actually Davey Baby, you don't have a brain. The problem with this 'Rafa hate in' thread is you are just all noisy sheep. You don't like the fact I have a different view of everything to some of you so, rather than appreciate or consider it, you pack together and try to shout it down or label me a troll ( a troll in all your opinions appears to be anyone who doesn't agree with the sheep). Quite why one or two of you think a 'normal' is somehow ridiculing is beyond me. Surely it's the 'not normals' that would be offended, or do you think that both of them are offensive ? So basically 'everyone' ? Doesn't quite befit logic does it ? I actually find it amusing that , apparently intelligent, people cannot tell the difference between what is right and what is wrong when it comes to their club but seem to manage when it comes to other clubs. I wonder how many of you would be slagging off Anton Ferdinand if he was a Chelsea player and Terry played for QPR ? Actually, I'll tell you - none of you would be. Carry on chaps - ill be there next season at every home game supporting my team and , should I not like something, my principles will override the 'blind allegiance' mentality you seem to have.
  10. Since when does knocking off your sister in law constitute bringing the club into disrepute ? Being found guilty of a racist comment drags the name of Chelsea down. I'm struggling to understand why you think it does not. A legend cannot be a legend with such a dark cloud over their heads. You lot can keep your heads in the sand if you like. Some of you deserve each other. Oh... And the mod on this forum thinking he's being funny with my IP address - grow up.
  11. This is my last point, I promise. I am not pick and mixing at all. I said it did not sit comfortably with me, but I don't think I could cast him off as I do on those grounds alone. As I said, it's the sum (not the mix) that bother me. I don't think much of Giggs for example, but they guy is a legend. If he was found guilty by the FA of being a racist then , well, I would say the same about him.
  12. Why do I feel the need to keep coming back for more ?! Where have I said only thick people go into pubs. The other guy was saying that in a pub I would get into a fight. Clearly anyone who would rather fight than debate is thick, yes . READ MAN, READ!
  13. Seriously - go back a few pages. There is a massive difference between a court of law and a tribunal. One does not follow or dictate what the other decides for fundemental reason I have explained. Anyway - I'm not going to add any more to this thread. It's tiring repeating myself and I have meetings to attend. A genuine thanks to those people who have argued some good points - I am not so thick skinned as not to listen and there are some things I now 'get' that I did not before. This has been hugely rewarding for me, despite the abuse at times!
  14. And do you seriously believe I am not intelligent enough to know when I can have a debate with people on the same level as me and when I know the point I am making would be fruitless because the listeners don't have an ounce of capacity to entertain me (ie the pub you speak of) Come on!
  15. I am not going to repeat what I have already explained a few pages back. Go and read it. Gerrard is a thug who should have been in prison for what he did. The fact he got off spoke volumes fo the people of Liverpool - no doubt they'd have felt even more victimised than they already do had he been found guilty !
  16. I've already explained the FA thing. Don't misjudge them - while they may appear to be a table of old duffers they are directed by a team of bright lawyers. A point worth making is that Terry could have appealed the decision in a court of law if he wanted to (just like you can if your boss unfairly dismisses you , for example). He chose not to . Ever wondered why ? The Hazard thing was one where commonsense failed to prevail. Personally I think the red card should have been rescinded on basis that the ballboy made it public knowledge he was out to waste time, but Hazards kick gave them that small chink of light and, well......
  17. You've kind of missed a point I've already made (I used Cole as an example earlier). While I don't agree with extra marital dabbling it really does not affect my view of a player as a person. Men are dogs, dogs shag bitches. It's our animal instinct and some people have the genomes to keep their dicks in their trousers and others don't. However, with Terry it is the sum of the parts that bother me. The racism, the 'do you know who I am?', the fighting . I am a person of deep principle and simply cannot accept the tag you guys give him. As others have said , it's my perogative.
  18. I have no issue with any of that. I cannot prove it to you and you don't want to take my word. I am sure, apart from Terry, there are many many things we feel the same about when it comes to this club.
  19. I would consider you a pet, if only for the novelty factor of keeping a single-cell organism as one. I've quite enjoyed debating things with people in this forum - those that can. But you simply don't have the wit or intelligence to keep up do you ? Congratulations on not swearing by the way, if I've taught you something it's to have a little more self control.
  20. Got you. I have to question my intelligence because people like you (and the people in the pub you have invited me to) don't have the mental capacity to argue a point ? Did you spot the irony in your own sentence ? Here goes then "Terry was a good Chelsea player, a fantastic captain (a point I have no issue with) but his off field behaviour is uncoming of anyone a fan would deem to be a 'legend' and I condemn it as well as the racism he was found guilty of by the FA and subsequently banned (and was not appealed because he knew damn well he was)"
  21. I've pretty much exhausted my views . I think I'll start posting one the other threads. See how much abuse I can attract on them!
  22. I have not criticised the normal fans . I've criticised those who have verbally abused Benitez and upset the rhythm of the team in the last few months rather than get behind the team and let the results talk. I've criticised those that spend their games abusing opposition fans and the opposition team with monotonous songs . They are not normal, are they, surely ? When I said 'normals' it was a term of endearment. It was supposed to refer to those fans who are seen as more 'true blue' than me and the rest of the 'prawn sandwich' brigade. I've even said there are some aspects of our lot I don't particularly like.
  23. Now who's misquoting ?. I was referring to the others, the ones incapable of the sort of well versed opinion you have.
