  1. According to the Man Utd fans last season this was the trophy to cream over, they were happy little sh*ts celebrating it - so lets enjoy it! My MOTM was Ricky by far, had an awesome game.
  2. Wow, looks like the half time talk hasn't worked.
  3. Its easy to blame Ballack (although I've not been impressed with him since he's been at Chelsea at all) but not many out there are having a good game either.
  4. Also Cech needs to throw to the breaking Bridge more often. Hoofing long balls up to Drogba isn't working.
  5. Arsenal are first to the second ball, their passing is more crisper, they're creating more chances... We need an attitude transplant. Half time couldn't come quick enough.
  6. Ricky's tackling has been top notch so far today. Although Gray wouldn't admit it. We need a good kicking at half time from Jose.
  7. This bias is giving ITV a run for its money
  8. Teams are in the tunnel and about to appear on the pitch.. doesn't look like it!
  9. Well its 2:45 and still no news if the game has been delayed yet. Reading some of the comments on the BBC webpage, maybe its best if it was put back half an hour or so then again, with no real idea how long the delays will last, will that be enough? -- 1444: "Stuck on train in Newport. Someone has started throwing empty sandwich packets about. This could escalate very soon. Sort it out and get us moving someone!" Via text. 1440: "It seems a nonsense that two London based teams have to travel all the way to Cardiff to play in a special stadium for a cup final. Especially given the traffic chaos that seems to be ensuing." Colonelwlv on 606 1437: "Stuck on train outside Cardiff. Severely delayed. ?54 for train, ?74 for ticket. Please don't kick off at 3." Via text. 1435: "Now becoming an anxious situation. Stuck near Newport with hundreds of frustated fans threatening to become menacing if they don't resolve matter and delay kick-off ." Via text. The latest situation as we understand it here is that South Wales Police are not requesting the kick-off be delayed - they are confident they can get everyone into the ground on time. We were told there was a meeting taking place at the stadium to discuss this, but we have heard nothing more on this. So the latest is that the kick-off is still 1500 GMT. 1422: Our train driver just told us he's been told officials are considering putting the kick-off back - watch this space. Please please please... Via text. 1419: This is proof (if it was needed) that the British transport system is a complete joke! Is it any wonder people refuse to get out of their cars? Via text. 1417: The game must be delayed. My best friend's husband and her six-year-old son stuck on a train near Cardiff. They left Chelmsford at 8am. Hold that whistle please. Via text.
  10. Well, who cares about the fans? Aslong as the television schedules aren't hampered then all is fine.
  11. Lot of delays on the major transport routes to Cardiff - trains and motorways causing a lot of problems. Wouldn't be surprised if the KO is pushed back.
  12. Team: Cech Diarra Ricky JT Bridge Maka Essien Ballack Lamps Drogs Sheva Just announced on SSN
  13. Apparantly this CC Final will be played with the roof open.
  14. Pictures of Cech checking out the goal in Cardiff on SSN, great sign
  15. Because another thread on this subject was clearly needed.. Well its a cup final, thought it needed something more official The (hopefully) last cup final being played at Cardiff, and, as it has been said already elsewhere - we can't really win this game. However, if we don't win with the trophy in our hands then thats fine by me. I'd like to see Robben on the field, but I'm sure the midfield diamond of Maka, Lamps, Essien and Ballack will appear. Thoughts? Predictions? Come on the Chels!
  16. I know I shouldn't put all the fans in one basket, but I didn't see one which wasn't wearing tracksuit & baseball cap. If any sets of fans can be considered Chavy - its them. Something in the air in East London... Oh, also, quite a bit of finger pointing and arguing on the pitch
  17. I was there, in the Charlton lot, happily singing 'going down going down going down' 'can we play you every week' 'and you know you are you're sh*t' ... Great game. Charlton did play well, but West Ham's decision not to turn up also helped. I've lost my voice too Hurry up and go down West Ham, got to get our bid in for Ashton early.
  18. Shouldn't let snipers into football grounds.

I hope when I have children I don't catch them on Liverpool sites either.

I know we can't keep protecting Robben, but I reckon the pitch also had an influence on why he was taken off. Was cutting up nicely under everyone's feet. Plus the fact we have a cup final in a couple of days time. I'm not sure what back 4 Wenger will play, but, if on form, Robben could get quite a bit of joy against them.
