Torres makes us better atm. He doesn't have to score but he opens up space for everyone else. To say he is useless is a bit over exaggerating. You pay a striker to score and often times the unnoticed things go unnoticed. Torres hasn't lived up to the fee. But he didn't put the value on himself. Roman did. Torres needs to be given a little slack. It's been two years since the transfer. I'm over it. Let's move on.

No striker would flourish here. Drogba was an anomaly. Aside from 2 odd 30+ seasons. All others were sub 20. Big goals yes. Sheer amount? no. Everyone wants a 30+ goal scorer AND to score from nothing AND in big games. But said players are in Spain. Just gonna have to make do with what we have.
