this season has been a roller coaster. win when we're supposed to. win when we play like crap. lose when we're supposed to be the better team after a good run of games. i honestly don't know. draw at the emirates will be a great result. but the way the season has been going...we may just win it. cech azpi (if fit) cahill terry cole ramires mikel schurrle mata hazard torres that to me seems like the best xi that we have. the sunderland game was a chance for the fringe players to make a case....but they certainly failed. we definitely won't win the posession battle so i reckon JM will park the bus and get them on the counter. scoring first will do wonders for the confidence. i just hope we don't get lulled into complacently passing side to side and dancing with the ball. all i ask is for more directness and a fighting spirit.....regardless of result. oh....and torres to surprise us with a goal.

A striker scored today. But did you see his reaction after being subbed off? It wasn't for being subbed but the way they were playing. Torres was begging for the ball the entire match while everyone danced around with the ball doing f*uk all. Our RB is the worst crosser. And despite our midfield immense flair and talent...they tend to try to be too pretty. Again a striker scored today....on instinct. But I think that's the only way any of them will. By cleaning up scraps.

Losing patience, with the people that are losing patience. why are we now questioning the manager we ALL wanted? JM is sorting out the defense first. that's his mo. he doesn't care about pretty football. what's the use of having all this creativity scoring goals when we would concede just as much. it's better to tinker now and solidify the defense first....THEN work on the attacking. from a fan's perspective it may not be what we wish to see, but in the overall picture, maybe this is where JM projected us to be. the players are just as much to blame. it seems that they are all not sure of what their position is and what job it is they're supposed to do. JM needs to assign a duty for each player, if they don't stick to it....next. I still think JM has his favorites (Terry, Cech, Lampard) however the latter so far this season for me has not justified his automatic bid into the starting xi. he's a legend, but he's considerably slowing the team down. oscar should be in that position. mata in the 10. but i don't think that will ever happen. we all want silverware but expectations need to be realistic. 3rd in the leaugue, advanced to the KO stages, still in all domestic cup competitions. we could be in a far worse position.
