  1. Stop complaining like an entitled immature child. Nobody's slagging off Chelsea so shut up and get out if you don't understand what is being said. I wouldn't even be here if I didn't like Chelsea.
  2. Interestingly, Barcelona always had that same attitude and they won the f****** lot haha. Also interestingly, Drogba did the same thing, so did Real players at every opportunity under Mourinho, they were serial divers. Ignore the facts, just keep thinking that players all have to get stuck in like it is "sunday league football". That's probably how Spain won the world cup too. Is that enough food for the troll? Your trolling is nearly as bad as "Englishman".
  3. You're going to need a sword to convince modern world class footballers and coaches of your ancient methods. Either take your mind out of the gutter or preach that to Drogba who was more than happy diving like a swan to avoid getting hurt for your own beloved club. The fact is, you are more than happy to see Wilshere injured that's the bottom line. I'm sure you'd love Iniesta and Messi to get stuck in like maniacs as well wouldn't you? Because obviously that's "what football is all about". Get educated. On second thoughts, you might be just trolling actually.
  4. Wilshere is useless to both the club and the fans if he keeps returning to the treatment table because he likes the thrill of launching himself into tackles. That tackle on Agger was wholly unnecessary and unacceptable, he had everything to gain by jumping out of it and everything to lose by going in. How do you think the best players become the best? By launching themselves in at every opportunity? No. That isn't how a player succeeds nor does any club which condones that type of football succeed. You would be reacting very differently if Drogba behaved like Wilshere back in 2010 and 2012, refusing to dive and insisting on getting his legs repeatedly crushed by the opposition. You guys wouldn't win a damn thing with your best player on the treatment table. Wilshere has a thuggish streak about him that he needs to get rid of otherwise he will never ever achieve his potential, and it will be his own fault. Now Arsenal want compensation from the FA for Wilshere's injury, what a joke. The only reason why Wilshere wasn't behaving this recklessly before was because Fabregas kept him in line, now he's running wild because there is no leadership in the Arsenal squad. And yes, he is one of the only natural dribblers we have, so he is a big loss.
  5. If an England player does come out as gay, just wait and see what happens. They'll be totally above criticism, anytime somebody mentions anything bad about his performance they'll be accused of possible homophobia, TV pundits will practise self-censorship and will never criticise his performances. Oh and they will always be picked to play by their club and international managers because they don't want to be seen as dropping the only gay player. Basically everything will become unbearably awkward for all involved, I can see that happening. It's just a natural human reaction to avoid criticising and upsetting an extreme minority in any business or organisation and to always praise them. After all, they are the token minority.
  6. It will be a formality. Against Brazil they experimented with the positioning of the players leaving Busquets as the sole holding player. It will be difficult for Brazil to get the ball when Del Bosque reverts to his usual double pivot. It's exactly the same as in the confederations cup 2009 when they were outplayed by USA. People doubted Spain but then look what happened in the world cup. The only problem Spain have is the aging of Xavi. If Xavi is still playing well and is fit, expect more soul crushing possession and the FIFA world cup for Spain this year. Especially in the heat, the players are going to drop dead chasing the ball.
  7. That's pretty much our trophy hopes gone. I like Wilshere as a player but instead of focusing on his technical ability and getting to that WC level, he allows his thuggishness to develop. He has cost the club a lot of money by launching himself into tackles, he's a thug at the end of the day. This is what happens when a person's attitude gets in the way of their football. Wenger has to make it clear to him that if he gets himself injured again, he will be fined. He's only disciplined in big games, the way he behaves is unacceptable on the pitch against other teams.
  8. So true. Gerrard is unfortunately just so limited as a player, he's constantly made to look out of his depth against decent midfielders. I'm pretty sure this is the kind of football Hodgson has in store for us, 60 yard passes from the back with Gerrard given the honourable role of delivering them and overseeing them as captain. I'd be very surprised if we made it out of the group stage.
  9. Spain made Italian defence and midfield look incapacitated, could've easily had 3 or 4. They have by far and away the best squad and the WC is theirs to lose.
  10. I have never seen a more incompetent manager. Just look at Gerrard, what on earth is he still doing in the England team? So old, slow, ponderous, unfit. He's everything you don't want in midfield at the international level, shocking that he might start in the world cup.
  11. Moyes is actually very lucky that this is a world cup year. He would have struggled spectacularly to get any quality players otherwise. There's a lot of talent being showcased at the world cup and the usual scramble to get the star players. Real Madrid of course will probably have first pickings like they usually do.
  12. They are certainly part of the big 5, yes. The fact is, Man United have monstrous revenues and they will always have the money to compete. But clubs like Newcastle, Southampton, Everton, Swansea, Tottenham etc will never qualify for the CL under FFP rules, period. It's never going to happen for the foreseeable future and beyond because unlike the big 5 clubs, the rest of the Premier League just don't have the revenue to compete. They will need a serious injection of cash to compete, the type of cash that would violate FFP rules.
  13. Yep. A real fighter with an amazing record, he won absolutely everything he could. There was even talk of him reaching Maldini's record of 5 European cups back in 2009 but it wasn't to be.
  14. UEFA will lose in court if they want to go down the road of bringing up the "fair value" of sponsorship deals, they've been threatening PSG and City for a long time now secretly and openly, goaded on by that Nazi Rumminegge. The fact is they only one agenda and that is to keep the top clubs at the top, they don't like change, and they certainly don't like the new make-up of the CL. FFP is a perfect set of rules to keep those at the top where they are and those at the bottom where they are. For example, no club other the big 5 in the PL will ever qualify for the CL in the next 50 years under FFP.
  15. Gotze and Muller didn't play for Arsenal ;)
