  1. Wilshere is a top player. He is an excellent player, not just Arsenal but also for the [English] national team.Guardiola
  2. I wonder how he rates his own "great" English representative-Lampard? Let's face it, Lamps isn't even good enough to start in Chelsea's set up much less lead England to World Cup glory, a decision between him and Lallana wouldn't take long either.
  3. Only a severely biased Arsenal hater could say that. You will never find any distinguished player or coach praising Lallana in that manner. Lallana clearly isn't at Wilshere's level, he's not even proven at the top level. Look at the players and coaches that praised Wilshere compared to Lallana, enough said.
  4. He's definitely going to the World Cup. And he also reminds me of Thomas Muller, if he can become the next Thomas Muller I can see a lot of trophies going Chelsea's way.
  5. Oh c'mon, that's very RAWKish. Actually I take that back. On RAWK they claimed that Coutinho is better than any Arsenal player.
  6. You might be right yeah, but Laudrup would command the instant respect of the Arsenal fans and the board. He had a stellar career as a footballer at Barca, his football philosophy is easy on the eye and he's got a trophy in the bag. I would appoint him immediately after the season is over.
  7. My personal preference would be Laudrup, he has everything to succeed at Arsenal. I've always liked Rijkaard too.
  8. Unfortunately, that didn't work. Wenger managed to withstand the pressure to buy a striker in January, there was heavy pressure on him but our league position gave him leverage. If he finishes 4th, he will lose a lot of credibility. We will certainly get a WC striker if we finish 4th, there's no question about that and hopefully more than that too, a change of manager.
  9. The arsenal board would be more than happy to keep Wenger for the next 10 years regardless of the results, just like they were more than happy not spending a dime the entire last summer. Only the fans can influence action on behalf of the board just like we did last summer. Make no mistake, the only reason Ozil was bought is because Wenger feared that the supporters wouldn't get behind him during the season if he didn't bring in a star player. By his own admission, he felt under pressure to buy a world class player, he said the fans want "names" and players of the "highest quality". If we can force him to buy Ozil, we can force him out.
  10. We're probably going to finish behind Liverpool, and if that happens, I expect Wenger to hand in his resignation. There is no way he can stay in the job if he finishes behind Liverpool, he's going to lose his loyal base. Liverpool's squad is more cheaply assembled and lower in quality and depth than Arsenal's. He has to go if he finishes behind them, there are no excuses.
  11. We're definitely going to finish 4th. Disgraceful. I've got no other word to describe it. By mid-April we'll be around 15 points off the top.
  12. I don't think they would say anything no. I don't know exactly what kick it out said about John Terry, the only thing which irked me about the John Terry case is why the police felt the need to get involved. But then again, I don't support the criminalization of racism.
  13. Ba is actually good. If he came to Arsenal he would displace Giroud easily, and score a lot of goals for us. I think there's a problem with the way the strikers are being played at Chelsea, I just refuse to believe that three capable strikers are all inconsistent and unable to score. Take what happened in Turkey yesterday for example, Torres was only slipped through TWICE and he scored once. That's pretty clinical for a striker who was totally isolated up front. The strikers are not getting the service they need, it's as simple as that.
  14. Exactly. Perhaps we should start the Society of White lawyers and see the reaction we get? ;)
  15. lol fair enough. I agree that they should have been more vocal and supported Anelka, since there was a precedent set for his celebration.
  16. I don't even know what you wanted them to say, I'm genuinely confused. You keep saying they were "less vocal" but what did you want them to say? I can't disagree with you if I don't know what you wanted them to do haha
  17. I know, but I was wondering what you expected them to do? Quenelle is a gesture that escaped punishment in Ligue 1 because it wasn't deemed to be racist.
  18. There are probably tons of cases where you can criticise them but this isn't one of them. Anelka clearly wasn't Anti-semitic, even the FA admitted, I'm not sure what you'd want Kick It Out to say.
  19. DROGBAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! What a header.
  20. Looks like Chelsea is carrying the English flag once again. With Mourinho at the helm, I cannot rule out another Chelsea CL victory. Their best route to the final is QF Olympiakos, SF Dortmund
  21. Lest I forget, shout out to Cambell, the Arsenal loanee who put United to the sword today.
  22. There's a French Montpellier defender called Mathieu Deplagne who done the exact same celebration in France and it went unpunished last year. I find it hard to believe that the French would allow Anti-Semitism in their own league, much less Anelka intentionally being racist on the pitch.
  23. Dortmund absolutely tearing Zenit a new one hahaha I knew they will destroy a lot of teams in the CL, I hope they get United in the quarters, they would finish off United in the first leg.
  24. Interesting. There's little need for surveillance cameras in the UK now, au revoir to all privacy, the military is sending out drones on patrol 24/7 to monitor everybody's movements: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-26320927 Watch the guy's reaction when he is asked whether those drones are capable of carrying missiles. "At the moment, there are no plans to arm watchkeeper" God help us.
