why did the Alonso story begin
The Alonso story should die a death now - should being the important word - now that John Obi has signed a new five-year deal and Alonso would've probably been brought in to fill the "Makalele role" in front of the defence..

Obi Mikel signs a new contract
Good to see a player of Mikel's quality committing himself to the club for another five-years.. Apparently, according to press reports, Inter (Jose) were after him, and the new contract raises his wage from 40k/week to 70k/week... (good pay-rise for him!)

PL, Man U. vs Chelsea, 11/01/09, 1600 GMT
Howard Webb is anti-Chelsea.. no doubt about it - he has specifically targeted our players (e.g. Bossy getting booked for a foul on Rooney whereas Rooney has been in the ref's face the entire first half). Added time was 1 minute... so the goal should've never counted.. We've played really well - best we've played for some time - and I'm just disappointed that the referees are ruining our season... although... deja vu this match of the match in september 2006 (tevez in the last second of the first half)

Champions League Squad Named
or maybe Di Santo could start anyway.. instead of Anelka..

28 MILL FOR ROBINHO
Robinho will sulk if Mark Hughes leaves him out of the team for any game - because he knows he the best player at the club at the moment, and he'll have a bad impact on their dressing room..
-
28 MILL FOR ROBINHO
I agree with you there mate.. we've actually learned something from our Sheva ordeal.. I personally think that Scolari and Kenyon we're in constant contact throughout the day - so I reckon the final say was Scolari's... Also, remember the Man City takeover isn't yet confirmed by the Premier League..
-
28 MILL FOR ROBINHO
We've saved ourselves £34m!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
-
28 MILL FOR ROBINHO
basically.. Calderón didn't want to sell to us.. thats the bottom line and thats who we should be aiming our annoyances at not Kenyon, not Scolari, or anyone at our club..
-
28 MILL FOR ROBINHO
Uhhh... Peter Kenyon? We need you to speak out - or at least make a statement on the official site... please.. Didn't we offer £34m and got turned down? Now Real Madrid accept £34m from Man City?
-
28 MILL FOR ROBINHO
Robinho stated in his press conference on Sunday that he wants to join Chelsea - and more importantly does Robinho want to play for Mark Hughes or countryman, and most respected coach in Brazil by all Brazilian players, Scolari?
-
28 MILL FOR ROBINHO
can't see anything about the press conf. on that site..
-
28 MILL FOR ROBINHO
where did you hear about the press conference times?
-
28 MILL FOR ROBINHO
CHELSEA JOIN DAVID VILLA RACE Now, Real Madrid have already had a €47m (£37.43m) bid rejected and wouldn't it just be sweet to see us beat them to David Villa after stealing Robinho from them...

28 MILL FOR ROBINHO
I've been following Robinho's wikipedia piece - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Robson_de_Souza - closely over the past couple of days and whoever is updating it just doesn't seem to really know.. I reckon that we'll get Robinho today (Tuesday) - and that the clubs will agree upon a fee of £25m - even though both clubs statements on the transfer will no doubt say "undisclosed fee".. Where Robinho will play is another matter all-together as the team are currently winning - albeit ugly at Wigan - and surely Scolari needs to keep the consistency going...

SWP Gone To Man City
A season-long loan for Sweepy to either Everton or Man City with a view to him signing permanently in a £15m-£20m deal at the end of the season.. according to some rumours that I've heard going round the net.. but that's only on the basis of small rumours that I've got that info... Best of luck to Sweepy what-ever happens.. personally I'd like to see him stay but I'm sure Scolari will know what's best for Sweepy..
