Nicolas Jackson - striker
His touch is awful, he takes too many touches to even strike the ball, but the worse thing is which is basic and you will see most lower league strikers have is attitude and desire. He has no desire to get onto crosses or put his body in there. You see when Nkunku came on he was in the box trying to get onto the end of crosses whether good or bad. Dont worry Jackson will bust a gut when a sniff of a tap in is on and then it's still 50/50 to whether he scores or not.

Well that's what champions league football, injuries and ffp brings. Ffp let's the big clubs stay at the top but for only so long, it will either work out for Chelsea or go badly very quickly.

Yeah very true, I'm one who believes Nkunku will make a difference so I'm looking forward to seeing him up to speed.

Chelsea have spent a billion and are still sh*t, there should be no sympathy for the club including any from Chelsea supporters, the Americans have wasted sh*t loads of money. Newcastle have a smaller squad and played more games so they was always going to be tired. They are one of the clubs who have actually made good transfers.

Tbf Newcastle injuries are horrendous and worse than Chelsea's and that's with a smaller squad and playing 2 games a week. Newcastle was always going to be tired and there best attacking sub was Ritchie. Chelsea should be jealous of the way Newcastle is run and the transfers which they have done.

7 goals in 16 games looks good on paper but it's similar to seeing a team have 70% position and just presuming they was dominant. Once you look at the details you get more information, the hatrick against 9 man high line Spurs screws those stats, goals against Luton, Shef Utd and Burnley is about Jacksons level. Once you watch Chelsea games you can see Jackson isn't good enough, his all round play is poor, offside and bad passes. Sometimes he does good things but the final part generally let's him down. His a good squad player or impact sub but he won't win you games on his own.

Looks like we have the new Enzo thread. He was poor yesterday and you wouldn't know he was playing if it wasn't for the hair, his been poor for a number of games. He plays abit in a no man's position, doesn't have the discipline for a midfield 2 but doesn't do nowhere near enough in the final third, against low block teams there is no point in him playing. I'm sure the stats against Spurs are top draw, just like Jacksons. I'm sure if I go in the Poch thread I will find we play the most attractive football as we have the highest average xg.

Spurs manager was getting praise but any Chelsea fan could tell him to play a low block, do that from half time and he likely gets at least a draw. It was absolutely crazy tactics especially with his 2 starting CBSs missing too.

Nicolas Jackson - striker
We need a striker more than anything, we have plenty of midfielders to come back from injury. Watching Jackson this season would not make you think he can score one on ones, the third goal was like bambi on ice and had the look of someone who didn't know what he was doing let alone anyone else knowing, I think the keeper just gave up guessing. He missed a couple of one on ones before that. Chelsea need a striker who can score on very few chances like the first one, a top striker scores that. I hope scoring a few tap ins has done something to his confidence but nothing I have seen so far tells me he is a number 1 striker. Top strikers make the difference against low block teams.
