  1. Chelsea have parted company with manager Jose Mourinho http://bit.ly/1O8WHfD #CFC
  2. Richard Keyst ?@richardajkeys Not sure Chelsea fans will like this but Juande Ramos' agent is in London talking to the club. He flew in today. Now what........? Jose Mourinho is on his way out of Chelsea & Juande Ramos will replace him as manager. [AS]
  3. Choose your ideal manager. I'd say based on the current managers I know, only Simeone will make a chance battling those 2.
  4. Ancelotti will replace Guardiola at #FCBayern Munich. Pep Guardiola will join Manchester City from 30/06/2016. (via @partidodelas12) #MCFC Pep at City, Jose after a 6 months break at United. What are your thoughts about that?
  5. You guys like the media are focusing so much on the word betrayed. In the interview you could clearly see he wasn't even sure if he used the right word, he even asked the reporter if that was the right word. What he meant is, the players didn't follow the gameplan. They let Mahrez cross and shoot with his left foot, and they were not chasing Vardy's runs. A better description would be "the players abandoned/neglected the gameplan".
  6. http://www.skysports.com/watch/video/sports/football/10101024/henry-and-fabregas-discuss-chelseas-woes Henry: You can have a go at the boss (Jose) but where is your pride? (chelsea players)
  7. Lukaku yesterday defended Jose Mourinho. Lukaku: It really hurts to see Chelsea like this but I have faith that Mourinho will turn the situation around "This is the 1st time Mourinho is confronting these kind of problems. How many coaches can say that? Not a lot, certainly not a lot. "People should respect that. And everything Mourinho is experiencing now, is making him a better manager." Schurrle was a favorite of Mourinho, they shared a healthy relationship but he wanted to leave because of his lack of game time after his illness. Luiz and Mourinho shared an OK relationship - The digs came only after he left. Of course I don't know what is happening behind the scenes, but this is based on interviews and their public actions. Actions speak louder than words, Mourinho played Luiz as defensive midfielder vs PSG in the Champions league over Mikel and in the league as CM over Lampard. That says enough for me. If he had the option to keep him, he would.
  8. Allowed to his liking? I think the club was strictly handling within the Financial Fair Play rules, 1 in 1 out policy: if we have not sold Mata, Luiz, KDB, Lukaku,Ba, Bertrand we would have not have had Salah, Matic, Cesc, Diego, Remy and Luis last year. We were the first club in I don't know how many years that won the league with a negative net spend (we made profit). Don't you think a manager as competitive as Jose, would want to keep Luiz (Defensive midfielder he used often) over Mikel? Or Mata over Salah? He had no choice because the books had to be balanced. At Madrid he was happy to have Higuain and Benzema, Ozil and Kaka. Competition is always good. In 2015 January, we only got Cuadrado as the direct Schurrle replacement because the latter wanted to leave, in the summer 2015 we basically had no big signings because we did not sell any big player for big cash. The Pedro buy (+- 20M) was a panic buy after the board realized they failed. He wanted Pogba and Stones but got Djilobodji and Hector. People should stop thinking that Jose has all the money to spend, the club has clearly tightened the budget and not improved the squad since summer 2014.
  9. They all want him out now he's weak, even the opposite fans realize that a long staying Jose will dominate the EPL for years or at least reduce their chances to win the league, United fans even want him to manage their team. Yet we have some members on here who are trying to brainwash others with their negativity, like ''the liquidator''. We have a poisoned lion, if he recovers from this he will rule again and will come back stronger than ever.
  10. This season the players except for a few - are all playing like Oscar - hot and cold, hot and cold. You can not have consistency in your game if you turn up for Porto and fight like lions but then 5 days later play like a weakling - with exactly the same eleven. I think we already knew there are no leaders in the team, no field leaders, no leaders by performances. Even our best player Hazard is not a leader by performances, last season he might overachieved - because in the other 2,5 seasons he's also been hot and cold. We seriously need to add some players with balls, I like Pedro because he's always giving his all - he deserves to be in the team instead of hot and cold players like Oscar. I hope Jose can give some game time to youngsters now - not 5 minutes cameos or 30 minutes but a run of 5 games. These over paid bunch of wussy's do not deserve automatic starts anymore. The January window can not come faster, some things need to change, and that's not changing the manager.
  11. I am ashamed that I ever compared the 2014-15 with the 2004-05 group, the current players are so weak minded. You can tell players to do this or do that but if they miss these kind of chances, there is nothing you can do as a manager. - Ivanovic empty goal - WTF? - Diego 1 on 1 - you could pass to Ramires or go pass the keeper - Hazard 1 on 1 (half chance) why do you need to control the ball so many times? - Remy shot (half chance) why use an extra touch? At least 1 of these chances should've one in but we got 0, 0. Duff - Joe Cole - Robben - Gudjohnson - Drogba - Lamps would've killed these chances with pleasure and eyes closed.
  12. It's difficult to be Jose right now, one game the players play solid against Spurs next game they lose at home vs Bournemouth. One game they play outstanding vs Porto, next game they go sh*te again vs Leicester... How can you build something with these kind of players? Weak mentality, we had 4 clear chances to score, two were 100% chances but scored 0, how can you explain that? These are all weak minded wussy's
  13. You are not the only one, but we need a positive end of the month and a good January to save the season. Losing 2-1 against Leicester away is not a disgrace, especially in their current form with those 2-3 players.
  14. No need to change a winning team, come on guys, show you can be consistent!
  15. Now we have this thread, it's interesting to post the all time favorites from some players here: Mikel's favorite XI: (4-2-3-1) Goalkeeper : Petr Cech Defenders: Paulo Ferreria, John Terry, Ricardo Cavarlho, Ashley Cole. Midfielders: Michael Essien, Frank Lampard Attackers: Willian, Joe Cole, Eden Hazard, Didier Drogba. John Terry's favorite XI: (4-3-3) Cech, Ivanovic, Carvalho, Terry, A.Cole, Makelele, Lampard, Hazard, Robben, Zola, Drogba I only remember the all time favorite teams from these 2 players.
  16. Fantastic collection mate, brings back so many great memories. Thanks for posting!
  17. Would love to see Bayern - PSG, Guardiola vs Zlatan. For us, anyone but Paris and Juventus
  18. In 2005 we should've won the Champions league (that ghost goal ....), we were the best and even beat Barca with prime Dinho and Eto'o. For me, the only players that would get into the team after 2004-05 are: Essien, A.Cole, Azpi and maybe Hazard. Cech Azpi Ricky JT Cole Makalele Essien Lamps Robben Drogba Hazard
  19. Mahrez will now face the best defensive back in the league in Azpi, he won't enjoy this match so much. Vardy will have a tough time facing JT and our young beast Zouma. And if that's not enough, our double locker Ramires-Matic will help them out. Defensive wise we've improved massively, 4 clean sheets in the last 7 games and only conceded 3 goals in total, plus our giant Tibo is back. Now it's time to recover our goal scoring confidence and Leicester is a good game to do that, they will attack us which gives us space to counter attack them.
  20. Really hoped to see Pedro instead of Oscar, other than that good line up. I think Oscar is there to mainly press their midfield, hopefully he can do a good job. This midfield trio Matic-Rambo-Oscar isn't going to create much so we need Hazard and Willian in their best form and Costa to care.
  21. come on guys, come on Oscar - you've been given a chance again, don't disappoint us!
  22. It supposed to be an article based on an inside story from an ex Madrid player: This was the damning response of an ex-Mourinho player when asked by Goal if his former Madrid mentor was to blame for Chelsea’s disastrous season. The player in question asked to remain anonymous - he is active and may have to work with Mourinho again. That's why I said not reliable.
