Defense more rotated than I feel comfortable with but Lampard keeps proving it right.

Must be a record of conceded free kicks this season.

Pulisic is the real deal!

That's why Werner was bought, our conversion rate is poor. We do not lack in chances created.

It's not a good midfield mix. One of Jorgi or Gilmour should be in there. I actually sympathize with Billy, he was racking up MotM before the break and now he's not making any appearances?!

It's almost over. Ziyech will take over next season.

12 minutes in and we probably had possession for 15 seconds of that.

This...so many variables it's tough to see how you can apply it to today.

I was really hoping to see Gilmour in there as possession in midfield will be key i feel. Let's see how this develops though.

I don’t care about Liverpool. Whether they win tomorrow or in a week or in a month, they’re winning. We need to win to be sure we don’t leave our champions league goals to chance (5th) spot. I know your comment is tongue in cheek but yeah.

Harder than it needed to be but 3 points all that matters today.

This. He made a good reaction save and was faced with THREE Villa players to hit the ball. Where was everyone?

Giving away a lot of needless fouls.

Loftus Cheek very much out of sync so far.

Kai Havertz
I very much doubt that myself, especially if Barkley was to leave. Having four players for two positions, where each can offer something different (which they really do when you think about it) is excellent for us in a 65+ game season.

Excellent first 20 minutes while also at home...who is this Chelsea?

Should've scored Pedro but he's putting quite a shift in, fair play.

That is the most brilliant thing I've seen from Barkley.

Gilmour with an excellent start. Go on!

Ruben Loftus-Cheek
You scared the heck out of me with this pic.

Mate, he plays for Dortmund so he’s going to Bayern.

I find myself agreeing with this on Tammy. Someone in the thread earlier said he needs to learn anticipation. How exactly do you learn anticipation? Movement can be taught but anticipation cannot as that relates to what people like to call a strikers instinct, an inherent talent. Not writing him off yet but I’m not fully confident to know he will lead the line for years to come. Are people really prepared to take such a huge gamble on Tammy? As a fan base, I think we know all too well what it means to have an absolute top striker (Drogba) vs waiting on a Morata to turn good for us.
