That Sterling Incident
Every time Chelsea Rent Boys is heard, bombard the TV companies with complaints about homophobia.

The emperors of Athens: how Chelsea won the Cup Winners’ Cup in 1971
I've posted this photo before but no harm in doing it again. Chelsea fans in Athens between the two matches, my uncle is the baldy with the white shirt and tie at the front.

That’s a lot of seats for their level ?! The last new ground in the area at Dartford doesn’t have that many and they’re a few leagues higher.

Great away win that Notts County one. It was never a great away trip as they didn’t have a mob to speak of unlike Forest. We had a huge support there that day, one of my favourite away wins.

That old North Stand shack really is a funny old looking thing. I suppose if had wrapped around as intended it would have been OK but the rest of the ground would have looked ridiculous.

Chelsea v Derby County August 1983.
Didn’t he only play because Joe McGlauchlin injured himself during the warm up ?

Plenty of Chelsea in the home end, hardly anyone celebrating when Coventry score.

Chance Encounters as a Chelsea Fan
Pat Nevin came in Record and Tape Exchange in Nooting Hill once. I ignored him.

That’s the only match I’ve been to with the missus that she actually enjoyed. We were at the front of the Stevenage Road stand enclosure near the cottage, loads of Chelsea in there.

He was an absolute thug at Birmingham, a great tribute to Clough that he took a chance and it paid off.

Favourite Ever Away Game
Arsenal away Boxing Day '77 and the taking and holding of the Northbank. I had toothache on Xmas day, luckily cleared up for the morning kick off next day, my best mate a QPR fan came around early and made our way to Parson Green station. Got to Earls Court where there was an almighty mob of Chelsea on the platform (no pubs open so a bit of decent organization for once). We got the train before them, Arsenal fans hiding their scarves on the train we were on and went straight into the Northbank. Went for a piss in the bogs at the tops of the stairs up and just as I came out saw the platform mob coming up the stairs and joined in as we all charged and cleared the end. Arsenal hardly tried to take it back, loads of skinheads over the far side, we walked right thought them more than once , there must have been the best part of 1000 Chelsea right at the back, a great end taking. Afterweards we walked unchallenged in a huge mob until we confronted another huge one at Finsbury Park station, also Chelsea. Sad thing was two days later West ham did the same thing in the Shed.

I was in there the previous year when the won 1-0 with Wright scoring. It was constantly kicking off but I’d already decided to jump up if we scored. I had a vintage Chelsea shirt on too.

I’d love to have been in the Northbank when we scored, just to see the Clockend erupt.

Fa cup banners
Those Chelsea regional banners around the middle tier at the Bridge are terrible, embarrassing and cringey.
