  1. Has to be the best away kit, f**k all that all black and all white nonsense. Birchenall nailed his Leicester colours to the mast a few years back though. Brought out the old 70’s playground song in me. Alan, Alan Birchenall, picks his nose and eats it all.
  2. Yes, the FA Cup game where the walls went down.
  3. But there will be the usual match day thread monkeys calling for his head.
  4. Silly haircut though, that sweep over never fooled me.
  5. Was that the League Cup game where Southampton got chased off the pitch?
  6. The Dulwich Hamlet promotion winning penalty.
  7. Climbed over that gate at the top of the slope, open in the photo more than a few times.
  8. I used to go there a lot, it was a nice ground before they developed it, I never once went in the School End though, always The Loft. Never had to fight to take it thought, just turn up and stand there.
  9. Everton Charity Shield ?
  10. Just following a trend. Any ideas?
  11. I wonder if it had the badge and The Shed felt tipped on the back.
  12. I was right, worn against teams in white socks!
  13. Curious why the club went to expense of special shirts and shorts to match the yellow socks. Was this kit only worn against teams like Leeds or Spurs who wore white socks?
  14. Leeds claimed a result in Piccadilly in one of their books.
  15. 20 years ago, winning the FA Cup was a great season. Today I feel no different.
  16. Didn’t know Panini went back that far tbh. Ken looks a bit goofy.
  17. We’re you at Madessons or Pontins? We could have been there at the same time as we did Madessons five years on the trot. Loved it down there as a kid.
  18. BT pundits saying the rule should be changed
  19. Yes, it's a great ground too, looks like they're going down though. Despite the rivalry between the two clubs DH are very grateful to T&MU for what they've done. Great bars in the ground which is handy as everything in Mitcham has closed down, and the food there is great too, jerk chicken, curry sauce chips, etc. DH look like finishing second unless Billericay f**k up and that'll mean play off(s) in front of big crowds there.
  20. I went to Carshalton for the first time a couple of weeks ago, Dulwich Hamlet have been kicked out their ground by developers and are sharing at Tooting & MItcham but their pitch has taken a bashing so Carshaltons plastic pitch was used. Its a lovely ground massive covered terrace along one side.
  21. Shame really, I though he was going to be the man to do just that.
  22. Biggest mob to come to the Bridge IMO filled the North Stand, got the same treatment as Millwall in the other pic when they came in The Bovril. Not a patch on West Ham in 84 though.
  23. Liverpool. I don’t remember them ever bringing that many other than the last match of the season decider.
  24. Blimey, that’s a surprise 79 was a bad year. Won 3-2 away I think.
