This is grim...been trying to support Baka but he should hide until the end of the season now Conte's stubbornness costing us again, Giroud fit and on the bench, no threat going forward.

It's getting infuriating at this point, the reluctance to rotate and use the squad... I get we aren't watching training week in week out and certainly don't know as much as conte and his staff but it's clear to anyone we're flat out on our feet and need a break.... Bats is a better option than false 9 which never really works for us, these are stodgy opposition at home too... Really hope I'm proved wrong but if it were anyone but Chelsea I'd be sticking a tenner on the upset!

Awful performance , never looked like scoring and no one bothered to turn up Huddersfield away won't be a walk in the park so hope teams freshened up... certainly seems the title is out of reach but we're still in the cups and top 4 is important for us so the team better come out from this angry and ready to fight. Bloody hate the hammers and Moyes too which makes it a lot harder to take - fingers crossed they go down

Only caught the last 20 mins and later the highlights but just seems like on of those games you should win 4-5 nil but sneak by. No harm done and 3 points is 3 points!

Baka had his worse game for us but some of the flak he is catching is ridiculous. He stepped up early off an injury to help us beat Tottenham and has been key in big games like the atletico and Man Utd wins.. He's raw technically but will get better, I also expect some of sluggish passing / tackles are due to fatigue, remembering that he didn't have a pre season and has been playing nearly every game. Excited to see Drinkwater come in and he had a good game. A 3 of him Fab and Kante for the next match would be interesting to see! Zappa had a storming first half as well but nothing went right in the second - dissapponting but the potential is there

No Mane or Firmino for them shocked me - Klavan and Moreno on one side of defence, think I know where I'd target ;)

Pool have been good this season in spells, we're coming off horrendous away trip (even though we didn't have to work too hard during the match) and they have ridiculous pace up front... That said, games here for us to win, they are diabolical at the back as mid week showed, have issues with set pieces, and have been thrashed by both city and Spurs. I know people are worried about Salah etc. But I'd be more working been a scouser looking at hazard and alvaro. Win and march on

Delighted with that back 3 played brilliant I thought, they weren't up to much offensively but our boys pushed up and were aggressive and Christensen in particular was excellent at taking the ball out from the back. Solid all around from everyone else and Eden, fab and morata showed their class. Full steam ahead for mid week and then the pool

Get in...what a performance, best we've been since atletico performance, should of been a rout Courtois - Couple good saves, no complaints Azpi - hero, looks a rock and again putting in the ball for a winner Andreas - should be first choice, cool on the ball, no issues handling power forwards and quick ones in Lukaku and Rashford, should of got his goal as well. Cahill - Did really well, I know he's hit or miss but can't fault him today - solid in the air against Fellani which is an achievement. Zappa - Actually thought he played very well, can do better going ahead but makes all the right runs. Alonso - Strong defensively and got forward well, needs to rediscover his crossing ability Fab - Brilliant, In a 2 he gets over run but pure class today. Interplay with Hazard was a signt Kante - makes every single player on the team better , no coincidence our intensity is upped the second he's back in the team. Baka - Showed what he's capable of, power house performance bossed Matic and Herrara and got forward brilliantly, should be man of the match but man, take shooting classes :s Hazard - My man of the match, class above, linked so well with Fab and Morata. United could only foul him. Morata - What a header, equally impressed with his hold up, he was so much more physical today and drew fouls and relieved pressure at the end as well. Should of scored more than the one. Overall a much more committed and intense performance, Conte got it spot on and I think this proves the players are in it with him. Titles not disappeared yet and this result proves the players are going to fight every step of the way and for me that's enough.

That's the right level of intensity and we've been the better team... Just need the goal now

Going into this not expecting the most but Conte and our blues have pulled it out of the bag unexpected before so keeping the faith... Id say best route to victory is surprise - it could be bats and morata up front in a 2 drop hazard deeper, or moving Luiz into midfield with Baka and hopefully Kante... I really don't know, I can't imagine conte is going to play the same team that played Roma.... Hoping to see Christensen in at a minimum because he really does ooze class and every other CB is underperforming at the moment. History is on our side with Utd always finding us away a tough game. Regardless of the result, we have to see fight here, the 2nd half vs Roma was very concerning, I don't buy into the medias hard on to paint a constant crisis at Chelsea but it's clear that there are issues that need to be resolved, best way to do it is on the pitch!

Awful, truly awful. Can't pin blame on one person, so many individual mistakes I lost count, lack of interest from the players even the ones coming off the bench with a "point to prove". Conte doesn't escape criticism either, we've been flat for a while now and as people alluded to - Fab and Baka have been woeful together. Both have qualities but together they are a disaster and make each other worse players, yet they were still picked. Last season when we were flat he changed the system, there's been no sign of that flexibility here and it's very concerning. I see two scenarios - one he changes the team Sunday, Kante comes in back in and we snap out of our collective funk. Two - poison mourinho and the filth do us at home and our season doesn't recover. Dramatic I know but the atmosphere around the team is very grim and we've struggled now for a while. I really love Conte but something feels wrong and knowing our board, a loss at the weekend and the writing seems on the wall. Not that I agree with that in the slightest, we could finish 10th again and I'd keep him but I'm not Abromovich :(

Personality wise -Azpi Pure skill alone has to be Eden and my rising star award for Christensen Pure class

He signed a massive new contract and is die hard atleti so I doubt it

Not scapegoating him (we won after all) . I concur that he played excellent with the ball, my issue is people breeze past him constantly in midfield and leaves us a bit vulnerable. I'm a huge Cesc fan - just don't think he works well in a 2. He's still an important player for us.

Best we've played since Atletico... Hazard was amazing, my favourite player in the world to watch when he's on that form. We really should of been out of sight by half time but at least we're creating the chances. Alonso and Zappa also got forward a lot more which helped us, when our wing backs have been pinned back we look lame. Also very impressed by Rudiger and Baka - starting to settle in well now. I know Baka has his flaws but he breaks up the play brilliantly and offers a real physical presence for us. Many have said it - Fabergas in a two exposes us completely, hopefully Kante will be fit for Utd.

Great line up from Conte, look we all know this tournament is last on the list of priorities let's have some fun and get a good look at the youffff really hoping Charly kicks on here - From limiting viewing I think he's got elite talent, just hope we can nurture it Only downside is I've a match myself and I'll miss it

Great response from the bench and hopefully a momentum shifting win. My love affair with Bats continues - his good qualities warrant patience and I loved Azpis celebration, what a warrior. Willian's cameo is proof that form is temporary, we have a class team just lacking confidence. The PL is so competitive these days that even Watford are a tough proposition and Huddersfield can beat UTD. A lot of the doom and gloom around clubs losing here and there is unnecessary and unfair - these external "crises" every bad patch are far too extreme. The football media doesn't help and loves nothing more than casting clouds over Stamford Bridge. Breath deep and move on , the club doesn't live and die on one, two or even three results

Missed the palace, only match this I've missed season, too afraid to watch highlights lol Need a reaction here - I don't believe the league is beyond us, but need something to kickstart our season - would like to see Musonda get a chance.. Willian is stinking out the place and nows the time for Musonda to prove his worth.

Poor and tired performance and very poor judgement by Conte by selecting Azpi at RWB, surely Zappacosta could of done more against delph with his pace. We gave them far too much respect and bringing on Willian was a joke, he needs a long spell out of the team. Conte usually gets it right and no doubt we'll bounce back but very disheartening loss. One major plus has to be Christensen though, looks like a super star.

Hopefully Batman on for Fabergas and reshape the team. No point having Cesc if we don't have the ball and he hasn't got Morata to pick out. Hopefully Morata recovers quickly

Unbelievable - how I've missed champs league Hazard best player on the pitch, Morata brilliant and won't stop scoring, Baka and Kante gave them fits and the defence held them from too many chances (except sauls sitter !!) Atletico are impossible to beat at home - this is a statement win! Batman I love you !!! I get the criticism but Michy has passion for the club and scores more often than not. He's capable of backing up Morata and could easily get 20 goals across all competitions this season. Bring on city!!!

I'm going into this one optimistic regardless of City's form - they've been up against scrubs There back 3 is still substandard and their midfield only has one player who has any interest in the defensive side of the game. I think they're a lopsided team and we can exploit them on the counter, but also win the midfield battle (I'll take Baka and Kante vs Fernandinho and Silva any day!)
