From the couple games I saw them they looked very flat (particularly a 2-2 draw with Girona in the first game of the season) Their defence is no longer the force it was 2/3 years ago either. That said they're a proven European super power in recent times and always do well in the CL. Draw would be a good result.

No arguments with that performance! Great to see the back 3 (sans Luiz) soak up a tonne of pressure and hold out. Lethal once Hazard and Fab came on and we could of had 6. Baka and Kante destroyed the midfield as well, both can improve on possession (especially Baka) but we've already seen how much better Kante has become under conte. Final praise reserved for Azpi who put in a captains performance at the back and chipped in with two assists to boot. No questions on MOTM, Morata making the club his own - looks happy, hungry and lethal.

Also back 3 look very good , dealt with all sorts of pressure

Good match so far, considering they did United and Arsenal here we've neutralised their threat while taking our chances. Cesc and Hazard can kill this for us in the second half

Agree on set pieces, fabergas delivery has been rubbish so far this season - also since when does every corner have to be a short corner? We're playing Arsenal with at least 5 6 foot plus players - just mash it in

Arsenals game ended when Baka came on... Oh well a point against a good team isn't the end of the world. Think we were the better team but didn't do enough to win it Luiz red is infuriating

Started the game very well , hazard and Baka would be a good shout was hoping to see Baka from the start

Don't think Michy is having a shocker.. Couple things not falling his way but he has some good link up and is getting in the right positions. Give him the whole second half and he should hopefully bag a couple

He looked world class against a 10 man pool team that couldn't defend with 11! It's all well and good when you've all the ball but Salah had a field day down his side in the first half Not to say he's a poor player but the hyperbole around some players these days based around their price tag is a joke

He's looked immense - I hands down think Chelsea have two of best CB prospects in the world with Kurt and Christensen. I also think Kurt can work perfectly in a 3 he's better on the ball than he looks and his Athleticisim allows him to maraude up and down. When you look at opposition teams struggling to patch the CB with any sort of solidity (city, pool and arsenals situation is laughable) We've got Azpi, Luiz, Rudiger , Cahill , Christensen and Kurt to come back. It's quite a good place to be in (Cahill been the weak link )

Definitely need to gurantee the three points but don't see why a bulk of the squad can't be rotated - I'd go as far as playing Kennedy at LWB At a minimum Christ, Bats and Drinkwater should start

Quite like us in this game - think packing the midfield is the right thing to do for tricky away games although I'd rather Hazard along side Morata than Pedro who looked a bit spare in this game. impressed with Rudiger and Bakayoko in this match - had apprehensions about both but showing quality
