Well assuming their manager has not changed his style they will be hard to break down so 0-0 or 1-0 either way written all over it.

if we aren't good enough to beat them, we aren't good enough to win the champions league. i believe whoever wins these two ties will go deep into the competition. atletico know how to win games, and they're experienced at beating the best team in the world. i think we'll need to be on our a-game to win this.

Fabregas shouldn't be starting games, he needs to come on as a sub and take apart teams when they're tired.

Caballero, Bats, Willian, Cahill, Moses, Musonda, Cesc

 

second half (depending on how the game is going) bring on Cesc if we need a goal or Cahill/Moses if we need to defend.

 

Not gonna be easy this. A draw would not be a bad outcome at all. 

Danger men will be griezman, Koke, carrasco and correa 

They like to attack along the wings and do have the tendency to take long shots.

I think Axman's team is bang on.

3 man midfield for me with Baka and Kante minimum. 

 

Looking forward to seeing how we do against one of the best sides in Europe in a competitive game. Seems like an eternity ago that we last went up against one.

Can't wait for this match. This is why we all want to be in this competition, to test ourselves against the best, and this is going to be a huge test.

 

I'll be pretty happy with a point in this match, considering it's away from home and will probably be our toughest game of the group. Having said that we're more than capable of coming out of this with all 3 points, if we play like we can and Conte gets his tactics right. I want to see Luiz return for this match, he's suspended for the City match and our defence will probably be put through it in these next 2 matches, so lets give either Rudiger or Christensen a rest. Also a 3 man midfield of Fab just in front of Kante and Baka is a must, we'll get taken apart if we just go with Kante and Fab.

Theres no way he doesn't start, the fact he's suspended for domestic games right now ensures that.

This will be a tough game, our hardest of the group, they are unbeaten so far this season. Take the point and run.

Because a wrist injury affects a footballer not playing in goal?

He'll wear a splint like the umpteen players have done in his position before him.

If Vardy and Azpi can do it, no reason he can't.

Atletico coming after a strong win against Sevilla, Atletico have passed a difficult year without new signings to play. But they still playing like warriors and we are going to have a different life there. Big test for us, Conte will have to prepare us for aggressive football. We have David Luiz back for this game, our defence looked very good against Stoke, not sure if changes are needed, but Luiz is an important key. 

I'd like to see us starting with this lineup:

With having Pedro, Willian, Musonda and Batshuayi as attacking options, plus defenders like Christensen and Cahill we're coming strong. Hazard has to play, he's hungry and this game is a test for him as well.

From the couple games I saw them they looked very flat (particularly a 2-2 draw with Girona in the first game of the season)

Their defence is no longer the force it was 2/3 years ago either. That said they're a proven European super power in recent times and always do well in the CL. Draw would be a good result.

A game we are allowed to lose. A draw would be excellent and a win gorgeous. Would love to see Morata score but they have one of the best defenses in the game.
