What's up with Palmer today? Zero work rate

Colwill was the worst player yesterday. Was giving away possession so many times and in really bad places.. And the goal, he was miles behind an otherwise perfect offside trap. Madueke storming off should be punished with bench appearances. Neto on the right and nkunku/Felix/Sancho on the left. Mudryk is basically zero defensively. Arsenal were killing us on that side after mudryk came in till saka went off. Also, I feel Lavia should be a bit more brave and get in more of those long balls he used to do so beautifully earlier. We have 2 very fast wingers and those passes are the best way to fk up the opponent's defense.

I feel this was the kind of game in which Sancho would have thrived. Our attackers, other than Palmer, had enough space but didn't use it to the best.

I am not sure about noni starting. Utd will surely give us enough chances for counter attacks. Noni is always slowing down our counters. It feels like his brain is freezing.

Was so happy to watch James' performance. Had a fear he might not be confident or lost his touch. But the guy was a Rolls Royce. Just when I was starting to feel if Gusto was better or atleast as good, this guy shows he's a level(or maybe 2) above. Sharp passes out of nowhere, strong at the back, the vision, the crosses. He couldn't get much into the right corner end to attack because madueke was always occupying that position. Maybe that's why on first glance, we may get a feeling he didn't attack as much as he used to. Don't feel he is worth this much amount of money when we could have invested directly in current team. Check this video. Neymar was and is all about about skilling and dribbling while this guy is just dribbling. He isn't using any skills. So probably wont perform well against better defenses.

I get a feeling this team is perfect for Mourinho. The team has talent everywhere. What it lacks is direction and tactics, especially build a strong backbone. Like the one he did the first time.

Finally we have somewhat of a playmaker, 4 years after hazard left. What I love about him is his calmness, vision and ofcourse the workrate. Coz of the height, his dribbling wont be as beautiful, but he seems to be slowly building that chemistry with his teammates. If there are no more injuries, by December, we will be scoring lot more and Palmer will be the architect.

Seriously? We lost the game coz he missed the pen. Would have been different story had we gone up. He's our best player but yesterday that miss cost us the game.

why cant we just give angelo gabriel a chance. He looks perfect for the role sterling played against liverpool. His dribbling, creativity and endproduct are top class.

the GK and 2 of the CBs are relatively new to each other. Give them a bit of time to gel. Playing out from the back is the way to go. Once perfected, its the key.

enzo, only thing he missed was a goal. Jackson deserves credit for the best performance from a chelsea striker/cf since diego costa left. He toyed with Konate. Has some real insane strength in him which you cant guess from his size. Won almost all the aerial duels. And then the pace and ball control and passing. If you include passing too, havent seen anything like this since Drog. Mudryk wasted such a beautiful run from Jackson.

Looked good today. Some neat touches and passing.

Gabriel looks worth the hype. Great vision. That cross for sterling's header should have been another assist too.

He isn't giving us his 100℅

No point talking about players that are not currently available. Kante hasn't played for long and I am not sure when he returns, what kind of player we are going to see. We obviously don't have players that can match KDB, Bernardo, Mahrez and Haaland. At the same time, they don't have a Mudryk. Most of their players are slow comparatively. And then there's the GK thing. Both of our Gk keeps making silly mistakes every now and then.

Forgot to mention some of those matches aren't 90, but 120

I was a huge fan of this guy. His signing gave me hopes of a ball playing midfield. He could tackle, pass, run with the ball and score those stunners. Thought he was going to be our Scholes. But recently, he has started getting injured so much. Well, can't complain, I thought. It's not his mistake. But this world Cup started giving me doubts.
