Chelsea vs Servette (Conference League) Thursday 22nd Aug 24, 20:00 GMT

Featured Replies

Absolutely we go strong here.  It's our best chance of a trophy this season and whatever our first team ends up being needs playing time to gel.  I'd go with similar starting 11 to today (injuries allowing) bar I'd drop Jackson and Enzo and start Guiu and Neto.  Oh and swap keepers.

Of, I remember. I was crushed

St. Gallen was one season. I think we also lost to Hapoel Tel Aviv another season in the same round.

Worried about the crowd at the bridge sept 1 against palace if we don’t win this one and then drop a clunker again at wolves. Winstanly and Stewart should be very nervous about some sort of chant featuring them and f**king off starting.

its not even on the players really, and booing them won’t change anything, but my god is it gross that we’re worried about Servette… in years past we’d have sent the academy on to deal with a conference league play in

We need to win the first leg comfortably, both to boost confidence and to ensure we can play some of the extended squad players in the second leg.

Excuse my ignorance, but which country is Servette from? Give we have 40+ players to pick from, would not be surprised at all if we pick a completely different 11 from the City game.

Off my head Switzerland I think

I'd go Enzo plus rotation:

Jorgensen

Acheampong

Tosin

Badiashile

Veiga

Enzo

Dewsbury-Hall

Madueke

Felix

Mudryk

Guiu

This team could lose to an mls team no problem

Anyone have any idea how to watch this game? At one website it said we should look at clubs own streaming services but I can't see Chelsea offering the stream on their site...

Of course there are going to be a few changes, but I hope that we won't see a full different lineup. We still need to work on the system, gain confidence and show numbers. If we can win this game 10-0, then we should do it, simple as that.

----------- Jorgensen ------------

Gusto - Tosin -- Colwill -- Veiga

---- Dewsbury-Hall - Lavia ------

Madueke -- Palmer --- Mudryk

--------- Nkunku --------

Once we see a good first half, Nkunku and Lavia could have their break.

COME ON CHELS!!

I hope I'm wrong but an early exit coming up. Shades of St. Gallen if people remember that. And we had a better team then

I was at St Gallen . We had been staying with the ex brother in law at Dubendorf just outside Zurich and drove down

Terrible night and not just the score poor Robbie Di suffered a horrendous injury ( broken leg)

Yeah, Joel Kitamirikes only game after half the squad refused to travel to Israel for security reason, if I remember correctly

Yep that’s correct
