terraloon got a reaction from Blue Ram in Enzo Fernandez - Now sold to Man CityFar too many just see a player as to how they play but character and impact on others is something that far too often is overlooked.
Man City have had their pants pulled down and to be honest with hindsight we had ours pulled down by Benfica.
That said his true colours seem to have become evident since he turned up in the PL.
It’s clear now why he was suspended by the club and others weren’t . Put quite simply he agitates, is disrespectful and thinks he is bigger than the club.
Having had cancer I don’t like the word when it comes to describing a human being but Enzo Fernandez is an absolute shi* and we are well shot of him.
He made it clear that he wants to live in Madrid and didn’t like London well shi* lets see how long it is till you disrupt City and want out.
I rarely, no never, boo a n ex player who returns but may well break the habit when he trots out at SB

terraloon got a reaction from Sexyfootball in Enzo Fernandez - Now sold to Man CityKeeping him would not have gone well.
For all the noise, for all the rumour Cities interest didn’t manifest itself in a bid until transfer deadline day minus 1 .
We didn’t buy Barco to sit on the bench picking his nose maybe Henderson will not feature as much as he did at Brentford but he offers far more to the team that Enzo.
Enzo was only truly effective in terms of getting close to being a top player when playing in advance of our holding midfielders but I am far from sure that he would fit the set up that it seems Alonso wants with the players now at the managers disposal
For me his own true contribution is that his trading had led to a massive plus on the balance sheet.
We are well rid

terraloon got a reaction from Nibs in Enzo Fernandez - Now sold to Man CityIn his own mind

terraloon got a reaction from OTL in Enzo Fernandez - Now sold to Man CityThis is exactly how I see it.
Enzo has talent but that is only part of the equation and his attitude and baggage is well shot off for a fee that quite simply is staggering. He is damaged goods and him going to City is almost poetic.
I would imagine that Barco will be starting in midfield on quite a number of occasions and maybe just maybe he or indeed one of the academy players may just be the answer.
We effectively will only being two central midfielders with the wide midfielders effectively being wing backs.
We can still sign free agents and yes they are free agents for reason but there are some possibilities if it’s just about legs .
-
terraloon reacted to Malcolm9 in Enzo Fernandez - Now sold to Man CityGood riddance, and we made a profit to.
We have more than enough in midfield, can we stop being so dramatic.

terraloon reacted to OTL in Enzo Fernandez - Now sold to Man CityHe didnt want to play for us so its best that he has gone. He was effective with goals and assists but wasnt a true leader and often went missing. . Weve got an excellent fee for him from the single interested party. We now have a very healthy transfer balance and a stack of options in midfield.
Reece James
Moises Caicedo
Romeo Lavia
Jordan Henderson
Malo Gusto
Valentine Barco
Reggie Watson
Madhi Jazuli
I think we should be able to struggle through till January at which time we can buy almost whoever we want if necessary. hey ho
Up the Chels.

terraloon got a reaction from Sexyfootball in Random RumoursThe saga around Tosin seems to have gone a little under the radar.
However after Delap it seems that a permant deal is on the cards to Benfica for a fee north of €30m.
If that’s true then circa £75 m for two very poos players would be a materstroke

terraloon got a reaction from SydneyChelsea in Jackson transferCan I pass on that.
Normally I can get close to being able to work out what is being said but when I first read the guidelines I have to be honest I tried but gave up.
As you asked so nicely I tried again and, gave up. It’s gobbledygook!
One thing I will say is I am far from sure that you are right, or come to that wrong, when it comes to your comment re any potential issue re Jackson

terraloon got a reaction from Sexyfootball in Pedro Neto *Official*Gordon wasn’t starting for Newcastle at seasons end so not sure you are right about his form and when it came to the WC wasn’t he was transferred before the WC kicked off.
When it comes to Summerville he had a couple of ok to gook periods but again nothing to write home about . Has a decent ish WC. Didnt surprise me that he wasn’t a target of note for any PL club.
We aren’t going to get close to £100m for Neto but don’t be surprised if it’s close to £80m than £60m
-
terraloon got a reaction from WhiteWall in Pedro Neto *Official*According to wiki we paid £51.3 m for him which is 60m€
This suggests to me that someone is simply making an assumption that we are looking to recover what we spent when everything I have seen suggests that the asking figure would be over that sum.
-
terraloon got a reaction from WhiteWall in Jackson transferWhen I first read this a day or so ago I simply dismissed it but on reflection I think there might be some legs in it.
What’s changed you may ask ,well it’s simply that BlueCos legal team are all over these type of things and that being so close to that arbitrary 45 days I can quite easily see that the sequence of Garnacho on loan and possibly Jackson on the last day of the window sounds a possibility

terraloon got a reaction from WhiteWall in Xabi Alonso - New Chelsea ManagerMy wife convinced me to go to the IOW for a three day caravan break in April.
The caravan was said to be deluxe.
Thank fully we didn’t take the cat as he wouldn’t have had his daily swing.
It was perishing cold in the mornings so had to rush out and turn the gas rings in, opened the curtains in our bedroom to be greeted by the vision of a woman in just her bra doing the same in the caravan opposite. Wouldn’t have minded but she was massive, had tattoos on her upper body and must have been 60+. She smiled as I closed the curtains back up.
The club house on the park was terrible with expensive lager/ wine and most of the residents line dancing
Danny Dyer or not I will never spend another night in a caravan

terraloon got a reaction from Nibs in Xabi Alonso - New Chelsea ManagerWhen we played in Norwich a few years ago we stayed two nights before the game in Gt Yarmouth in a Premier Inn. Wasn’t too bad but can’t say I took to the town.
We drove in the next day to Norwich and had a hotel just up from Carrow Rd. Before the game sat by the canal with a coffee and after the game had a drinks by the water and a really nice meal.
Both before and after the game the two sets of supporters were well behaved and there wasn’t a hit of trouble. It was really enjoyable indeed I just wish that I could say the same about the vast majority of away games but I can’t.
