Poch leaves for a summer of BBQs after only 1 season at an elite club in his entire career. We wish him well after a tumultuous yet latterly entertaining season.

So who should we get next? Here are the runners and riders, and since we're apparently looking for a young coach I've excluded some of those who obviously don't fit the bill.

Ladies, gents and non-binaries please back your horse.

What about  Edin Terzic? I dno't know that much about him but remember being impressed with how Dortmund were playing when i watched them a while ago

Whoever it is he's getting sacked in December. The real question is who'll replace the next manager and will he be able to salvage a top half finish?

Went for Amorim, at least he’s won a bit and experience in Europe.

The idea of Tuchel is great and he’s the best available but there’s no way has changed his personality and I doubt the board of directors have either so it’s not a runner

Id run a mile from Jose and conte albeit to a lesser extent.

The remainder just give potter vibes, I’d be fairly concerned for them and think the whole thing could turn into a mess if they aren’t in the top 6 pretty much from the get go.

I'm in the camp that really wanted him to stay... Pochettino did really well given the injuries and the fact the team is all potential and no experience, if we end up with RDZ I just feel like we have not learned from our previous mistakes, the guy did no better with Brighton than Potter. Ditching good managers for the flavour of the month. Infuriating.

I voted Hoeness, like the sound of him. And if we're going to only have a manager for a year at a time then might as well be someone interesting.

Funny thing is, because the sporting directors dont give a sh*t about what the manager thinks, we actually arent in much of a rush! He can just rock up 1st day of a preseason and deal with it.

Amorim/De Zerbi for me. Havent seen much of Hoesness, but he has turned down Bayern, so not sure why he would then come here.

Tuchel no chance.

Nagelsmann no chance.

Not sure why we even consider Kompany who just got relegated, McKenna that just finished 2nd in the championship, or Frank who has win nothing. Less ambitious options than West Ham those 3.

If we truly want to make the step to the next level, it surely has to be Roberto De Zerbi.

He is the closest thing to Guardiola in world football and the squad is tailor made for him.

All these young players will absolutely love his football and the likes of Palmer, Madueke, Nkunku, Mudryk will hit new heights under him. They will be electric.

Fingers crossed it's RDZ.

Tuchel if we want to compete for trophies. The rest is just flavour of the month.

I read about McKenna out of curiosity, it’s pretty impressive what he’s done at Ipswich.

He joined in December 2021, and he got them promoted to championship the following season. Then the very next season, straight promotion to premier league. Could he be the next big thing? It’s absolutely a massive risk and could backfire spectacularly. One of them high risk high reward options I guess.
