Tuchel if we want to compete for trophies. The rest is just flavour of the month.

I read about McKenna out of curiosity, it’s pretty impressive what he’s done at Ipswich.

He joined in December 2021, and he got them promoted to championship the following season. Then the very next season, straight promotion to premier league. Could he be the next big thing? It’s absolutely a massive risk and could backfire spectacularly. One of them high risk high reward options I guess.

But all the sackings have left no room for risk. We'll be competing for two CL spots, as City and Arsenal are guaranteed to finish in the top 4. The next manager must dominate from the word go next season, or it'll be a third consecutive season with no CL. It's year 3 of the project and we still can't decide who we want as our manager.

If we truly want to make the step to the next level, it surely has to be Roberto De Zerbi.

He is the closest thing to Guardiola in world football and the squad is tailor made for him.

All these young players will absolutely love his football and the likes of Palmer, Madueke, Nkunku, Mudryk will hit new heights under him. They will be electric.

Fingers crossed it's RDZ.

I voted Donald Trump. I like him. He made America great again.

But there again, do we even really need a manager? Can't Toddy boy, Egbahli and the Clearlake posse just get together with the players on a Friday afternoon and decide who is gonna play on Saturday? It may sound radical, even a bit daft. But hey, it's Chelsea! You never know.

Hey they want a young, inexperienced manager right?

Our chances of @Zetagetting the job just vastly increased!

If they make it happen I will be nothing but sunshine and rainbows about our owners!

There are interesting choice out there but once again it all depend on these SD.

What do they want? Do they want a manager who will play their player? Do they want specific gamestyle?

Finding manager who is willing to play the player that this SD want is the tricky part. We do the squad building, you just coach.

There are many manager who want to play specific gamestyle but they need certain player which again doesn't suit what these SD want.

If they want manager who is super modern in term of his training and approach to the game, I have said it multiple time, TT is the guy. TT won't play your player though.

They don't care about any of this. They want a young coach that will do as he is told and not say anything when they sell one of their preferred players.

It will be hard for that coach to build any relationship with the player and build accountability in the squad.

If this is the plan, you have the template in Arse n City.

Haaland

Doku - Silva - Kdb - Foden

Rodri - Stones

Ake - Dias - Walker

Kai

Martinelli - Rice - Ode - Saka

Tomiyasu-Partey

Gabriel - Saliba - White

Size, power everywhere and you just sprinkle some technical master and no raw player.

Frankly anyone - they will only be here a season (maybe half if they are truly sh*t) and then be paid off millions

I can’t get excited about this topic as soon as they are through the door they will be odds on being sacked.

But if I was owner and had pick of any manager in the world I think I would bring super Frank back again, JT and Zola as assistants - heart and head moment I expect 😂
