He had a very good debut. Back 3 in low/mid block mean he didn't feel like he left palace.

No great expectations ... likely to have 10 new players out of a first team squad of about 25, and that is an awful lot of churn yet again. Who knows how many of the 10 new arrivals will make a difference ? Rogers probably, Lacroix maybe (although debatable if he will prove to be an upgrade on Chalobah).
Penders, Palestra, Chavarria, Barco, Quenda and Emegha are all a bit raw. If three of them do well that will probably be a decent hit rate
Henderson and Welbeck could contribute, but could equally be over the hill, and neither will be starters.
A lot will depend on whether Alonso can get a tune out of what he has inherited, and how quickly he can integrate the new signings at the required performance levels.
