Became the youngest international goalscorer for the greatest footballing nation of Kazakhstan last night against Belgium.

Kid looks the absolute real deal, makes the Emugha signing even more a head scratcher, think he’ll be sharing minutes at RSC next season with Panichelli (who we should 100% actually sign)

Think he will run into the same problem Paez currently has out there where the minutes aren’t just enough for his development.

Won’t be surprised if the club has a fire sale at the end of this season since UEFA squad rules means it is one in one out. Paez, Sarr, Anselminho, Penders, Jackson (Bayern currently not interested at a permanent move at €60m), Emegha and Quenda all need a solution.

Yeah, there’ll be quite the squad overhaul for sure.

A few of those seem to already be ‘succession’ plans however.

Anselmino & Sarr likely replace Disasi & one of Tosin/Badiashille/Chalobah.

Penders either has another season on loan à la Courtois or replaces Jorgensen as Bobby’s backup.

Jackson is gone regardless of whether or not it’s with Bayern.

Emegha I think is just a PSR ‘flip’ he was being sniffed about by other clubs so RSC take their profit now, BlueCo CFC LDN take theirs in the summer.

Quenda comes straight into the squad, a Gittens probably goes out on loan.

Paez maybe follows the Andrey Santos route and has a 2nd RSC loan once he’s ‘accustomed’ to the league? And I think Satpaev joins him there.

One of Enzo, Pedro Neto, Gusto etc probably end up being moved on this summer however, just to balance the sheets.

Dastan next year would be a better option off the bench and the early rounds of the Cups than George or Guiu. Ive seen him a few times hes looked very busy, quick and had a tremendous shot. Id think he might force his way into the first team squad albeit on the fringes if he has a good pre season.

Hes a bit good imo. No data just a hunch. Hes already had exposure to Champions League and International Football.

Satpaev will struggle in a Maresca system. He's a similar profile as Mudryk. Very direct, likes to do things in quick bursts. Not possible to work in a Maresca system.

The guy is plying his trade in Kazakh football... Probably the same level or below the league of Wales. The step up in class he will face is going to be massive and I'll happily take George or Guiu up front next season with more games under their belts over someone from another farmers league until he proves his worth.

It is another youngster... I dont have an issue with it much either as we've always done this even under the previous owner.

but yeah, think the gravy train of selling our better players is going to continue and we are forever the youngest side in the Premierhsip.

Dont get me started on what we are paying for the youngsters and the number we are signing. Mudryk is a very good example of what can go wrong.

Chelsea sold 22 players in 2025. I wouldn't say any of them were our best players.
