Was worth the gamble and will likely be easy to get rid. There are already a lot of neutral fans saying 'we ruined him' and you can best believe a lot of clubs think that way too.

That gamble, amongst the ones like Garnacho and Gittens, was part of the reason why we were so sh*t last season. I said from the minute we were interested that he would be a terrible signing. If any club takes him off our hands, they are fools. They are going to find themselves struggling to get 10 goals out of their new striker. With the way Delap performs for us, they will struggle to get 5.

    Yeah, yeah, I did, Delap is world Class, Drogba shouldn't be in the same room to lace or clean his boots. That CL final goal he scored is nothing compared to Delaps rocket against Barca.

    Barkley was much better at getting injured and boozing than Hazard; damn fine player that Barkley...

    Watch this space, Rosenior will replace jose at Real...

    Think Mickey Owen debut goal against Argentina sort of legend in the making. Owen was a brilliant striker. If this kid has half his talent, we can make bank and sell to a championship club for 10 million one day.     I have to say that most clubs would have looked to pick him up for that price last season. Hindsight doing a lot of heavy lifting on this one. And I beleive if he goes to Everton he thrives

    No hindsight from me, I always said he was sh*t. I haven't been so sure of a player flopping since Bakayoko.

    You should probably know most Americans dont know where Port Talbot is or the fact it has historically had higher cancer rates than other locations around the UK. Perhaps you can educate yourself why. Not common knowledge really, and FYI we now live in a world where soccer and football are pretty interchangeable in terms of language, as it is in Rugby League, which you should know about living in your northern slum, right? Scuttle past my posts, it'll save your head from hurting.

I just wonder whether we live in an environment nowadays where we could just throw a Rooney or Owen or Fowler into the front line at that age.     I was kinda over exaggerating, but I do think there is something about him. Would be ironic if after all the money spent on 'wonderkids' this £2m transfer is the one that pushes on to become a star player.
