I'm yet to see another country unravel a political banner encouraging the invasion of another country, fighting rival oppositions on the pitch after losing and their fan base rioting in the country following football matches tbh

We certainly seem more serious this summer. Maybe the owners have finally realised how clueless these guys are?

Its even more crazy that we spent £100m on them in the first place.

I wonder if theres any sour grapes around the Argentinians committing mass extermination and even actual genocide against indigenous people in their own country.

If only we were all just so emotionally mature as you, is that right? Maybe we should just try and hand wave off racism, thats pretty emotionally mature...right?

@Mod Seeing as my account name is a death sentence for Chelsea players/managers, can i please change my name to Pedro Lomba Neto. Or simply Lomba will be fine.

I'm not sure that it's a case of sour grapes at all. I think for the majority of us its the sheer gall of a group of pampered, entitled, mentally feeble twenty somethings using the fact that they are in the public gaze to broadcast a political statement that is both inflammatory and, to any of us around at the time, totally incorrect.
But once again these things get viewed only through one lens. Could we have seen the victorious England parading a banner of Colonel H Jones. Of course not. It would have been deemed distasteful, sadly most of the latest generation wouldn't even know who the fck he was but probably the main reason we wouldn't stoop to it, would be because it's got bugger all to do with football.

I dont think anyone has argued England deserved to win, they didn't.
Argentina behaved like animals and the ref (as usual) allowed them to.
Two things can be true at once.
And "that's just the way they are" doesn't absolve them of the behaviour

So racism is okay if you're giddy? Interesting take. Thank god he didn't win the world cup again or we'd have the whole debacle again with him racially abusing Nico Williams for his heritage. I suppose he'd only have to say sorry then it would all be okay though.
Driving ban is minor? And if he had hit and killed a child whilst doing so? Just minor? You are a weird person and i can only assume this over the top defending of the individual stems from a sexual attraction, there is no other logical explanation.

its best to ignore them. If a fan isn't British their support of the club will never mean as much as a local fan. They're more like my mum being a fan of Eastenders than a loyal supporter that follows the club each week with football so engrained in local society.

I'm getting a bit annoyed at fans from other countries, mainly those coming from African countries, going after us English Chelsea fans and the English in general for being pissed at Enzo. The last time I checked, this is an English club, not African, you don't get to tell us how we should feel about him.
It's amazing that foreign fans hate the English so much but choose to support an English club.

JT was filmed shouting "I never.." at which point Mikel walked across the screen, followed by the words " f..b..c..", and in court he argued that he said "called you a " as Mikel walked across. Noone heard JT shout anything at all, so JT's defence was impossible to disprove. So he was - correctly - acquitted.
I personally found it ludicrous beyond belief that the captain of a side with so many black players would - for the only time in a career of several hundred games, all televised and broadcast across the world an scrutinised by a hostile media looking for any dirt to chuck his way - ever have publicly hurled racial abuse at an opponent.

Of course the media were outraged at his acquittal and the FA went for him in a kangaroo court and found him guilty of using the words 'F b c', even though they could not prove he had said them as a racial slur. For the FA, saying them even in a denial was an offence in itself. I remember pointing out at the time that - by the FA's logic - the magistrate and the barristers in the case were all as guilty as JT, as they all used the words in court..
JT resigned as England captain in protest at his treatment.

    He really didn't.
He said, 'I didn't call you a ****' when the ref was being complained at. Early footage showed that, and then they decided to blur his mouth to fit the narrative the media were pushing.

Is there an age limit to playing in defence? Cubarsi was one of the best players at the WC at 19yrs, oh and Yamal was Spain’s talisman at 19.

So you say some perspective is needed and all you've done is defend racism, dangerous driving and leaving his wife and kids?
In regards to the Falklands, what does location have to do with anything? We've held the islands long before Argentina was even a country. Ask the people that live there and 99% consider themselves British. Please explain your reasoning and why you think your/their opinion is more important than the people that live there? By your logic, does that mean the rest of Ireland should be British because they're a small island off our coast?
Covering ground is meaningless if you do nothing with it. I believe the phrase 'headless chicken' is appropriate here.
