didierforever reacted to Ernie_blue in Chelsea's UCL credentialsI was going to write the same thing, Arsenal managed to use the squad in the group stages, hopefully the new manager can take advantage of playing poor teams and give the youth a chance.
-
didierforever reacted to Remodez in Ruben Loftus-CheekCan we just give him a chance and stop making excuses not to play him. He's done everything asked of him so far on loan, he should get a chance simply on merit.
-
didierforever reacted to All Barco no bite in Ruben Loftus-CheekRLC's 'poor work rate' is the biggest myth in football. So many people say it on here, yet i bet most haven't watched him since he was under Jose as an 18 y/o. The lad has a great engine on him and has worked up and down for Palace this season tirelessly.

didierforever reacted to Bobbywoodhogan in Ruben Loftus-CheekThere are examples on both sides although remember Bakayoko had played for Monaco and on the big stage regularly. Loftus-Cheek hasn’t done that even for a season yet. So it’s a bit of a different comparison although I get where you’re coming from.
My point being though that these players need a chance to try and prove themselves and you have to admit we often don’t give them that chance. I actually don’t think we’d have been any less worse off if we’d never even signed Bakayoko and just tried our RLC.

didierforever reacted to Bobbywoodhogan in Ruben Loftus-CheekHe’s a young player, how is he supposed to improve if he doesn’t get his shot?
Im sure there were Spurs fans who thought Kane wasn’t good enough. Look at him now.

didierforever reacted to Bobbywoodhogan in Chelsea's UCL credentialsI’m weirdly looking forward to it. I can see some of the young talent getting some game time too which could be really beneficial in the long term.
I think if we can keep the beat players we have now we will be favourites too. I know it’s not an easy competition to win. I’d argue it’s harder to get as far as the final in the EL than it is in the CL. But I’d rather win this than finish in the top four, although I’d prefer we did both next season.

didierforever reacted to Floyd25 in Ruben Loftus-Cheek‘Nowhere near enough quality’, that’s harsh, he has shone for Palace and is good enough to go to the World Cup, he’s at least good enough for the squad. There’s not much point in keeping him if he’s nowhere near good enough, may as well sell him. Why can’t we sign a top midfielder and keep Ruben? Two of our midfielders are likely to leave anyway and we’re in the Europa League, where he could get consistent game time. He doesn’t have to play every game, depends how he performs, he’s home grown, better than the home grown players we currently have, a gamble? I don’t see how.
-
didierforever reacted to Bobbywoodhogan in Ruben Loftus-CheekI’m really pleased for him I just hope he can take these huge moments and shine cause as we’ve seen many times with young English players you can quickly fall from grace.

didierforever reacted to Nibs in Next Chelsea ManagerTrue, but let's not forget that the dippers beat City 3 times this season by playing the way they did rather than sit back and sh*t themselves!

Timo Werner as a marquee signing....
-
didierforever reacted to Bobbywoodhogan in Next Chelsea ManagerWhoever it is they have to be given some realistic goals. The next manager shouldn’t be burdened with having to win trophies or Top 4 if he has to integrate youth. It’s not fair. Sort this with the right man from the outset and we shouldn’t have problems like we’ve have with Conte and previous managers.
-
I had a debate with my Liverpool supporting mate today (he chats sh*t thinks Liverpool deserved to finish second, I was like so why did you finish 4th then?) but anyway. He was saying how badly we’re treating Conte and I proper lost my rag. People like my mate looking from the outside in don’t get it. Conte hasn’t shown the fans much respect, he looks sisnteteated, is constantly putting down players and wants to leave. This isn’t a situation where the club is only bothered about league position or the timing of an exit from the CL, this is about a man and a club who have fallen out, a man who refuses to accept any responsibility for our dire season and finally a man who appears to have zero respect for the fans. So yes while we have had harsh sackings in the past, Conte’s will be fully deserved. f**king Liverpool fans!

didierforever reacted to Bobbywoodhogan in Alvaro MorataWith the way we seem to have tightened the purse strings that may not be the best idea. Selling him now we could recoup a good sum of money for him. If we keep him and he ends up just as poor as this season then we are unlikely to recoup the money.
-
didierforever reacted to Bobbywoodhogan in Alvaro MorataI don’t think he can stay, he’s not a premier league striker simple as. He’s a good player still just doesn’t suit this league and especially a team like ours.

-
didierforever reacted to icecoolguy22 in Antonio Conte - Now Officially ManagerWe had some sh1t managers and awful seasons, but I can't remember one manager led us to so many embarrassing defeats in 1 season like Conte, I'm talking about embarrassing losses like 3-0 to Newcastle, Bourmouth, 4:1 to Watford, and lost to Palace who got no goal, no point after 8 games. We didn't just got beat, we were hammered. Newcastle was out shooting us 10:0 in the first half, it's like Barcalona against some league 2 team out there. As fans, we accept lose to better teams on the day, or sometime just not your day, but those loses were just not acceptable, and yesterday he just gave us, not the first time he has done that this year.
-
Embarrassing that fans are still singing Conte's name when he doesn't give a sh*t about the club.

didierforever reacted to Davey Baby in 2018/19 squadCaballero is not good enough to be our number 2.
Zappacosta has to go and we need to bring in another RB.
Christensen has signed a new deal. He can now go on loan. Should be nowhere near our first team next season.
Luiz should stay, not fussed about Cahill. We need to bring in another CB of top quality.
We need a top midfielder. Right now we have one. The rest are barely competent. This has to be our priority.
We must keep Hazard at all costs. Pedro must go. Just let him go to whoever he wants for nothing.
Morata can go. He's got no balls. We need players that have balls. Bring in a striker, keep Giroud, bring back Abraham. Batshuayi can go.
Ampadu, Kenedy, Hudson-Odoi and RLC are in. Bring in a manager that will play them.
