Stoke City Vs Chelsea (PL) Sat 23 Sep 2017 KO 15:00 GMT

Can't wait for this game. It's the first time I will have been at a competitive Chelsea game.

Coming down on Friday and staying in Stoke.

 

I'm like a big kid so I am about this game.

This has become a massive game, particularly with City coming up straight after.

 

Three points would do the world of good but it's going to be tough. A loss and it starts to look like the championship will be beyond us.

 

We need Hazard back, badly. Trouble is Stoke will kick him all over the park.

I felt last year the title would be between United and city. I was wrong thankfully.  I do once again find myself believing that once again and that we will fall away to battle for top 4. Hopefully I am wrong again.

I'd put Pedro instead of Willian. Willian is far too selfish a player. Otherwise this looks good. I hope that Conte sees it how most of us here: don't let GC start the games.

This is exactly the sort of game where I might play Cahill. We all know at some point they will throw Crouch on and hoist balls up to him. With no Zouma, Cahill is probably the best player to mark Crouch.

Worrying thing is in the few minutes left on Sunday Cahill played the central role. Luiz plays that  role for being free to cover, bring the ball out and speed. I haven't got a big a problem as some but don't think he can play the central role. If he plays that's a big responsibility for christiansen to play.

Yes any win will do here, gonna be very tough, stoke haven't lost to arse or united at home this season, my first away of the season so I don't want a crap performance and loss as it's a long drive home

Would like to see Rudiger left of the 3 as you suggested, but I think Conte will play Cahill in Rudigers place.

He will most likely yes.

but I just think rudiger is better on the ball and has much more pace than Cahill.

 

Cahill reminds me of seeing Frank lebouf replaced by Emerson thome or Marcel edged out by jt and gallas or father time catching up to jt last season.

There are better, younger options for us again now. Just a matter of time before his spot is taken. I wonder if young Andreas might be about to step up and quicken luiz move to the bench as well.

I don't think Andreas will relegate luiz to the bench just yet, he needs a bit more work on his physicality this season, his technique is great, just needs to tack on a little bit of extra strength and muscle to be top quality in this league
